Music Upon Your Exit
by RAYZORBLADE ini know this topic has been touched upon from time to time.
i haven't been on here regularly in many years, but i know what it is like for many; or those that are on their way of exiting the organization.. what songs do you recall or remember during your exodus from the wtbts ??.
i left mentally in the late autumn of 1983; apparently (i don't know officially...but does it really matter?

Were you popular in your congregation or district?
by Emery innot to start some form of popularity contests here but i was wondering how popular some people were?

Since I am socially awkward and was the last kid choosen in high school in line, was also unpopular growing up as a JW, I was in the borg until 32 years old and was only invited to one dance, also I was told once by an elder that the reason why I don't have no friends was because i was spiritualy weak but I can say looking back that statement by that elder put up a red flag subconsciencely.
Life after the Watchtower is 100 times more better and socially I have a much more better understanding, the Watchtowr caused me to have what I call a "social blinders" but now that my blinders are off I have made friends and go out some weekends with my friends and either sing Karaoke or dance, I am the life of the party:)

What's The Main Reason You Do Not Believe That The Witnesses Are The Best Religion?
by minimus insome people leave because they are fed up with the elders.
others have personality issues.
some have doctrinal and prophecy reasons.

I am a born in and hated every minute of being in the borg but was brainwashed to the point where I believed in it at the time, I was to the point in Feb. of 2011 where I had enough of the sh######t and decided that I wanted out, back then I didn't know that mentally I was in until coming across the book Crisis of Conscience online, after first 88 pages the whole deck of cards came crashing down all in one night, it took me about 8 months of looking at the watchtower at every possible angle and to totally clear my mind.
The past 2 years has taught me so much about the real meaning of life, Christmas this year had so much more meaning then last year, to deal with the harsh shunning that my parents are putting me though theres several things I do, for one thing the holidays helps alot and also going out with friends, during Christmas I spent time at one of my co workers house, thats the other thing I have found out that helps is celebrating the holidays at friends house.

Wow does this all ever change, I am so glad I am out of the confusion and I got my mind clear, I caught something that I want to share and get everyones opinion on, this is really crazy that they be publishing the memorial partakers because this is what the August 15th, 2011 Watchtower said:
Memorial partakers. This is the number
of baptized individuals who partake of the
emblems at the Memorial worldwide. Does
this total represent the number of anointed
ones on earth? Not necessarily. A number
of factors—including past religious beliefs or
even mental or emotional imbalance—might
cause some to assume mistakenly that they
have the heavenly calling. We thus have no
way of knowing the exact number of anointed
ones on earth; nor do we need to know.
The Governing Body does not keep a list of all
partakers, for it does not maintain a global
network of anointed ones.

The most biggest hyprocrites I seen/see is when the convention comes around which is one of the cities where I live that its held, when I was at the bar with some friends of mine all the JW's were in the bar after the convention getting drunk, and I knew they were all JW's because they had their name tags and they were all wearing suits/dresses(lol) and then they have to counsel my brother because he has a drinking problem, hyprocrites!!!!
