  (yes, guys, even us women notice other women's butts:-) she stops at the dairy section, turns around and i swear she is 60 if not older!

  e. soriano set matters straight for me.. you people alleged that the creation of adam is an "anti-scientific nonsense; and god did not.

  create adam from a handful of dust, like the bible says, (ok maybe a bucket full).

  i've been lurking on the board for almost a year now and i think i'm ready to come out of hiding (although, i'm so nervous as i type this).

  i'm not ready to share everything about my story, but the basics are that i'm a born-in, elder's kid, baptized as a teenager because i was tired of hearing people ask me "all your friends are baptized, when are you going to get baptized?

  ", married an unbeliever (was df, but came back shortly after) and we have two kids.

  My parents sent the elders after me

  i stopped regulary attending meetings and going in field service in january.

  the elders have left me alone for the most part i think because of my jw husband.

  last week my parents came over and told me i needed to come back to meetings.

  You did great. Keep employing the same tactics. Hopefully they'll give up in sheer frustration. What your husband did shows signs of him putting you above the cult and being protective of you. Qualities of a person who genuinely cares for and loves you. As,long as he's by your side you are in a good position. My philosophy has always been as long as I have only one person who loves and supports me unconditionally, the burdens of life will never be to heavy bare when there is someone to share the load.

  What has the Watchtower reading material done to YOU?

  the reason i ask is because i realise i couldn't go on reading watchtower material.

  i have discovered it did something to my mind no other literature has done to me before.

  it had turned me in to a person without a heart, or soul, and made me in humane and distant from other humans who didn't share the w.t world view.. i now feel ashamed of my childish behaviour, and i have learnt :-.

  early this morning, i was stopped at a service station dealing with a mechanical issue with my motorcycle.

  i deeply regret that i was very unkind; in actual fact, i was quite mean in my response to them.
