i seem to feel a constant feeling of dread and anxiety.

Here is how I look at it. Logically, did the boogeyman in your closet turn out to exist once you Were older than twelve? -

Where is this evil spirit from?
by iconoclastic inmany believe in the wonderful drama of evolution (life evolving from non-life through flower/fruit beautiful trees and variety of species, reaching homo sapiens and finally returning to non-life) through various processes such as mutation, adaptation, natural selection .... yet there is an evil spirit working against the very spirit of the evolution, producing ironical results in too large a scale.
to mention a few:.
1) the really superior beings are kept sidelined (http://thoughtcatalog.com/lorenzo-jensen-iii/2015/07/17-ways-that-science-proves-women-are-superior-to-men/).

Saintbertholdt:
Good point. You like others are way more knowledgeable than myself on evolution so yes, I enjoy every opportunity to learn from guys like you and Cofty, even if it is on an Icon thread. The books Cofty recommended to me have been incredible learning experiences but I still have a long way to go and enjoying the journey.

The only way to know God exists!
by iconoclastic indo everything as god would do if he were present here.
this will attract his attention, and you will experience his invisible hands blessing everything you do, giving you results more than what you sowed.. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------.
hence put to the test the above, and then you can make really authentic comments!.

Death is not something to be feared!
by iconoclastic inscience can explain how of things, but it cannot explain why of certain things (for example, why did life arise from non-life and evolved from simpler creatures to more complex life forms only to die and disappear?
) so are the conflicted religions whose chief concern is in safeguarding each ones separate identity..
next option is to look for pearls among the stonesusing power of our own reason.

LUHE:
The finality of death when one makes peace with it, no longer is a fear factor.
When faced with a deadly situation our instinct like that of all creatures, is to survive. When we are suffocating we gasp because our physiology demands oxygen in order to survive and we are aware that if we can't breathe we'll die, so we fight tooth and nail to breathe. All creatures behave the same way - it's Instinctive. Humans though fear death on a much vaster scale because we obsess over our mortality. Let go of that obsession and the need to survive remains but the fear of death fades away.

Does Jehovah control the weather? (Pharaoh's dream - 7 years of famine)
by truthseeker inaccording to the scriptures, jehovah makes his sun rise upon wicked people and good and makes it rain upon righteous people and unrighteous.
- matthew 5:45. in that case, if we look at the account in genesis, god is shown to give pharaoh a dream that he will cause seven years of famine.. genesis 41: pharaohs dreams.
25 then joseph said to pharaoh, the dreams of pharaoh are one and the same.

Common misconception, that the desert god controlss the weather. He is only the god of parking lots. Thor can controls the weather. It be noted, however, that he doesn't actually "control' weather worldwide all the time, rather he causes weather when he desires to do so. Hope this helps you out.

First of all why would you fear the inevitable- it's counterproductive. Secondlyif you were working in an ER and observed someone die and were also witness to an animal's death you would realize there is no difference Between the death of either. Both live by the same mechanics and are subject to the same laws of science governing what is necessary to sustain life. Believing in a soul denies those fundamental mechanics and laws and certainly does not change anything. The most you could possibly do is bullshit yourself then that animals have souls, too and that would throw all your Christian nonsense right out the window. -

By the looks of the all the sudden thumbs up for icon supporters and number of thumbs down for everyone against his ridiculous reasoning is very different to how it was just a week ago, I would assume the kid has a few more accounts now. Looking back on his threads this is just way off "the usual". -

Implications of gay marriage ruling
by Rattigan350 inwhile many think that the ruling is good for the gays and their response is: how does that affect your marriage; then on the other side the religious people cry god and sinners.
but both are missing the forest through the trees.. the problem with the ruling is that which is discussed here so many times.
five unelected federal officials decided on policy for the whole country, running roughshod over every democratic principle.

You said the Devil is behind the JWs.mtherefore the Org is bad. The bible says love what is good and hate what is bad? Why don't you hate them? Can you at least attempt being consistent?
