  e. soriano set matters straight for me.. you people alleged that the creation of adam is an "anti-scientific nonsense; and god did not.

  create adam from a handful of dust, like the bible says, (ok maybe a bucket full).

  i've been lurking on the board for almost a year now and i think i'm ready to come out of hiding (although, i'm so nervous as i type this).

  i'm not ready to share everything about my story, but the basics are that i'm a born-in, elder's kid, baptized as a teenager because i was tired of hearing people ask me "all your friends are baptized, when are you going to get baptized?

  ", married an unbeliever (was df, but came back shortly after) and we have two kids.

  My parents sent the elders after me

  i stopped regulary attending meetings and going in field service in january.

  the elders have left me alone for the most part i think because of my jw husband.

  last week my parents came over and told me i needed to come back to meetings.

  You did great. Keep employing the same tactics. Hopefully they'll give up in sheer frustration. What your husband did shows signs of him putting you above the cult and being protective of you. Qualities of a person who genuinely cares for and loves you. As,long as he's by your side you are in a good position. My philosophy has always been as long as I have only one person who loves and supports me unconditionally, the burdens of life will never be to heavy bare when there is someone to share the load.

  What has the Watchtower reading material done to YOU?

  the reason i ask is because i realise i couldn't go on reading watchtower material.

  i have discovered it did something to my mind no other literature has done to me before.

  it had turned me in to a person without a heart, or soul, and made me in humane and distant from other humans who didn't share the w.t world view.. i now feel ashamed of my childish behaviour, and i have learnt :-.

  Once again someone in a dire situation has his life held hostage by The Seven Suited Turds and has to suffer as a result. JustHuman it would be easy for me to tell you stay away from the bOrg at all costs but your situation is one I can't even comprehend. All I know is I want to punish that garbage cult for you in a really bad way for puting you in this predicament.

  my father was diagnosed with alzheimers disease.. .

  before his dementia grew worse he requested to be baptized in jesus name.. .

  when i see him and hear him talk now it is nothing less than a miracle from god.

  Nearly Killing My Mother Wasn't Enough !

  as some of you might have read last week, my mother had extremely low hemoglobin and without it, she would have died.

  i have somehow managed to bring her to reason and accept the transfusion.

  it saved her life.

  I feel bad for what the two of you have had to endure at the hands of these oxygen theives. Violence aside, IMO they are as bad as ISIS in the context of causing loss of life and keeping people in check with fear. THEY'RE NOTHING MORE THAN OXYGEN THIEVES!
