Now blame the US or the West for this attack. Go ahead and blame the greed for oil the West has. Can't you apologists see they DONT need an excuse? They are determined to kill anything non Muslim and Muslims who fail to follow their twisted fundamentalism. Sick of hearing that fundamentalist terrorism is all due to the West's infringement on their resources. Muslims have to solve this problem and until they do, they are all complacent. It amazes me how they'll come out in the hundreds of thousands globally to violently protest a work of fiction, but barely a peep of protest against what is being done in their religion's name. -

JW Chef Refuses to Cook Black Pudding
by cofty insainsbury's has been forced to apologise after its jehovah's witness chef refused to serve a customer black pudding with his full english breakfast.alan mackay was stunned when he was told he could not enjoy the staple, made up of animal fat, blood and oatmeal, with his meal at the branch in arnold, nottingham.after receiving his incomplete dish the former police officer was told the black pudding would not be served because it was against the religious beliefs of the chef to do so....

There was a case which relates to this a couple of years back.
A Hasidic Jew applied to be a firefighter with the Goshen Fire Department. The GFD made it very clear that unless he shaved off his beard, he could not be a fireman as a beard would prevent a complete seal being formed with the respirator and the face. This would not only endanger the life of the applicant, but also his fellow firefighters as they would have to now risk their lives once he succumbed to smoke inhalation, not to mention the obvious risk to those being rescued if the applicant passed out while carrying an unconscious victim.
The Hasidic community attempted to sue the GFD on grounds of religious discrimination which was obviously complete nonsense. Had it been an atheist with a beard the same rules would have applied - it had nothing to do with religious intolerance but everything to do with FD rules and above all, common sense. He chose to follow the rules of the Hasidic faith which clashed with the rules and regulations of the GFD. If your beliefs prevent you from complying with a given job description, you have no business applying for the job - it's a simple choice. But because his faith demanded he have a beard the Hasidic community saw it as an opportunity to cry foul and invoke the religious intolerance card.
The over emotional crowd as usual allow their emotions to dictate their thought process instead of common sense. Tax payers money wasted in the drawn out process of court hearings over something which should have been a non-issue in the first place. I'm definitely with Simon and Cofty - if your beliefs are going to keep you from carrying out your job description stop making it about bigotry and others being at fault, common sense alone calls you out for what you are - a self entitled twit who thinks the world should step aside and make special concessions just for you because your views demand it. YOU are the one causing conflict and no one else.

Commercial activism.
by Ben131895 inin his last couple of vlogs, john cedars is wearing a t-shirt saying shunned.
some people liked it and asked him if they could purchase one.. in his last vlog (#111) he is advertising it and mentioned the link www.apostee.com, based in the us.
comments attached to vlog # 110 mentioned the fact that this company will close in april and that the business will be continued by cedars itself, who has also a stock of anti-witness items.. besides that, he was not the owner of jwsurvey.org, but since january 16, 2016 he is.. it looks (as mentioned before by simon in an earlier thread), this guy is making a living from his activism, a paid career.. one should seriously question his true motives, demonstrated in his activism.

So those who work for activist/charity organizations shouldn't be payed? Those organizations are supposed to run on Magic? Doing these things costs money and the people who are involved need to feed themselves and their families. Suggesting that their efforts are motivated by money is ridiculous. -

Welcome to a great online family. We may not all agree with one another but to help each other is something we all agree with. What strike me as complete BS is how hard you try, how humble and compassionate you are and the virtues you demonstrate most religious people fail miserably at, yet your holier-than-thou wife commits adulatory, gets reinstated and stil proceeds to act like she is better than you. I may get a reply lashing for this, but like my ex wife, your wife may have some deep seated psychological issues but she is toxic nonetheless. In fact, your entire predicament is toxic.
You my friend are in a terrible situation but I guarantee you if you cut the umbilical chord tethering you to that vile cult and a twisted wife, life may be tough for a while but would inevitably turn out for the best and your life would eventually improve dramatically. Seek help and encourage her to do the same while ignoring the vitriol from her father and congregation which is sure to ensue.
Give some serious thought about what is making your life miserable and come up with a plan to set in motion.

I have no time for Jehovah's Witnesses but certainly don't hate them - after all even children are Jehovah's Witnesses and no rational person would hate a child. I do however hate everything they teach and represent. -

by thedepressedsoul inwow this is interesting!
i think how much emphasis this puts on "loyalty" shows their is an issue.

Brainwashing can only be successful with unquestioned loyalty. -

It's the same old power game. Reminds me of Orwell's Animal Farm and how the pigs slowly erode away the rights and equality of the other animals until they have consolidated their power and wind up oppressing the entire farm. -

Unfortunately there is no easy solution to terrorism. It's a faceless enemy filling its ranks from all walks of life, requires little in the line of logistics, plays by no rules, is dedicated to ideology instead of compassion and is single minded in its quest. It also has a temporary status. What do I mean by that? Let me try to explain.
To those agreeing with the ideology they are freedom fighters and if freedom is won, then that is how they will often be viewed by history. South Africa's ANC and its armed wing, Rhodesia's ZANLA, the Vietnam Cong, innumerable South and Central American guerilla parties, the French Resistance- they were all once regarded as terrorists by someone but today they are either viewed as freedom fighters against oppressive powers or as legitimate governments. Ultimately the freedom fighters themselves did not win but helped garner attention for their causes with violence so that political discourse was finally seen as a solution to end the violence. This is the ultimate goal of terrorism, to use violence to force a favorable political outcome.
No matter how many bullets are fired, bombs dropped and terrorists killed, fundamentalist terrorism will not go away until either a compromise is reached (which rarely ever works) or one side completely caves in and negotiations are a farce more than an agreement. Until Muslims themselves make an attempt to stamp out fundamentalists amongst themselves, it will continue with different names and flags regardless of how much non-Muslims resist. Their support system has to cease support, it's as simple as that. What is not simple, is making them see that.
