Are the Governing Baboons master manipulators or are they just doing their job?

I don't believe for a moment any of them believe their bullshit. Certainly if GJ really believed or had faith in the fact that he was one of Jokehovah's chosen he wouldn't have hesitated confirming it to the ARC. After all, if you firmly believe or have faith that you are one of Dog's chosen, why would you be afraid to answer to the affirmative before mere mortals when you have the Alpha and Omega on your side? Then you have Tight Pants Tony going on about .... tight pants. Even the political in fighting during Franz's tenure proves it's a man made power game. Yes folks, it's all about the power. complete, unadulterated megalomania. -

What is the alternative to JW?
by Formerbrother ini mean this with all due respect, i would like to hear from genuine people who think jw have it wrong and then what is the truth?.

Formerbrother37 minutes agoSo to sum up, there is not a clear alternative to JWs?
If Jehovah is not the true God then there is no truth?Facts, proven theory and empirical evidence support whether something is true or not. Jehovah or any other Dog has got nothing to do with what is true. What is true, is that the GB have passed despicable laws in Jehovah's name.

Health, fitness and recovery advice
by SecretSlaveClass ini hope this is okay with you simon, but since i've noticed the number of forum members looking to discuss or seek advice on various health issues i thought it would be a good idea to start a thread dedicated to this topic alone.
any discussions or advice on these matters could be put here where any and all would be welcome to jump in with any help they could offer.
i am working on the first questions at the moment taken from the cognac/morpheus weight loss thread.

Firstly, there is a reason you crave carbs over say, vegetables. Your brain is hard wired for carbs because it is the essential food for survival and In modern society sources of tasty carbohydrates are so readily available. The combination of the two doesn't make things easier when trying to regulate our caloric intake. Carbohydrates are the predominant causes of obesity, not fats like so many people are inclined to think. Add fat and salt to that and we have a major issue on our hands, and this is exactly what fast food combines by design.
You don't even have to make salads. Eat a piece of low glycemic fruit (like a banana) or carrots, celery and other ready to snack healthy choices and feel free to dip them in a tasty low fat dressing of your choice. You can eat celery till you pop and would have barely taken in 20 calories! Also as I've mentioned before, get in the habit of preparing extra healthy food for the days ahead so you can reach for that whenever you feel pressed for time.
I recommended the MyFitnessPal app for iPhone and Android before, I'll recommend it here again. It has the calories, fat, fiber, carbohydrates and protein values listed of almost every food on the planet and can track your daily intake. Had a bowl Kelogs Corn Flakes? Just open the app, scan the the box label and it records a serving along with all the nutritional information. So easy! All my clients use it.
Im glad you're treating you BP disorder and are conscious of your intake at the same time, I'm proud of you. Keep at it and it will pay dividends, I promise!

The danger of thinking we know everything.
by stuckinarut2 ina thought occurred that there is a danger in thinking we know everything, or have it all figured out in life.
especially when it comes to matters of doctrine or faith.. witnesses (or at least the society as a whole) are so self-confident, so proud to be the only ones who know "the truth" about everything to do with the universe, the earth, our past and our future, that pride kicks in.
and pride is dangerous...(.and before a fall).

Personally, if I ever found myself with an attitude that "I knew everything" I would have to acknowledge that not only had I become lazy and stopped learning new things, but also that I had become the ultimate liar. -

More Ant-Evolution BS in this months JW Broadcast Program
by ttdtt inso at around the 46 min mark - the are talking to this guy from ukraine who was a zoologist.. he talks about how he was a staunch evolutionist (who wasn't able to prove evolution to himself, by the way).
then when he studied nature through the lens of evolution - he found that nature contradicted evolution.. his big point came when he said - "imagine emptying a box of letter blocks on a table, and the encyclopedia britannica appears, or could a computer program come by chance.
so who could dna come by chance.".

JW Tattoos
by bradford ini'm sure there are countless opinions on whether you should get a tattoo or not.
my personal view is that if you were to get one it should mean something.. anyone get a tattoo to remember their jw roots?
i was thinking of getting a tetragrammaton somewhere.

Stealth:
If a JW got that on his arm he could rack up pioneer hours just hanging out at the park. That made me laugh. Thanks!
I almost got a tattoo in the military then decided against it. I far prefer the look of clean, healthy skin. There are two kinds of tattoos I detest:
The "tramp stamp" - nothing says "I'm trash" like these do, even though it may not be true of the person at all. Social stigma I suppose.
The "Tough guy" - usually barbed wire or tribal designs around the bicep. It's not so much the tattoo that's the problem, but almost every guy I knew or know with one tries ridiculously hard to portray the character of a "tough guy" and are invariably bullies. Of the dozens I know or knew who had them, only two were real tough guys who also happened to be among the quietest, gentlest people I know. I'm willing to bet you're also one of the latter sort, Stealth.
I remember back in the day when tattoos weren't as common as they are now and were largely confined to sailors, ex-cons, military types and bikers. Now fourteen year olds have them .... SMH.

NeverKnew:
A troll child doesn't care. So yes he won. He consumed all your time getting your attention. It has nothing to do with JW commitment. Like I said, if you read my postings of his IM's to me full of profanity. The CHILD doesn't care about the JW religion, only your attention. But be my guest, keep engaging him and convince yourself that is what he's all about. Get it? He's a CHILD, as in barely pubescent.

I seriously can't believe you intelligent lot are debating a child. Didn't you read the post I shared concerning his PMs with me? Wow. Keep feeding the kids ego, seriously go ahead. He's a teenager and beating the shit out of adults as far as effort goes. But hey, keep feeding him ... Who am I to to laugh at you all? -

Bro, seriously. Your trying to debate a child. Ignore him. He's an early teen troll. Didn't you see my posts about the PM's from him I shared with the forum?
I wish Simon would just ban this kid.

Nowwhat
No he is a literal child and a troll. The last time he swung by here he was shut down quickly, particularly with the profanity laden PM's he sent me which I shared with the forum. No seriously, he's a child looking to troll, period. Just ignore the little brat.
