No one even looks our way when were out together. I have personally witnessed this. Before they would always come over and chat. Not anymore.
Your husband is being shunned.
There is not such thing is JW-land as an announcement made not to approach a JW only when they are with their unbelieving mate. There is just no such thing.
If you are on speaking terms with any JWs, off to the side quietly tell them you noticed people are not talking to your husband and you are wondering if he is disfellowshipped or marked or something and what you can do to support him during this difficult time? I'm sure you will get your answer.
(ETA: I'm not really sure if the above paragraph is a good idea or not. If you decide to do something like this, be very careful about word choice...maybe leave out the 'disfellowshipped' or 'marked' words...play up your never-a-jw status...and run your plan by the folks here on this board before you try it.)

I doubt that is the case as he hasn't lost privagles. He goes out in service twice a week has a bible study with the cordinating elder every week. He does a weekly study with his sister. He attends both scheduled weekly meetings at the dummy hall. He even has a talk comming up.
Isn't that all just normal JW stuff? I have been out a long time, but I thought 'privaleges' were things like running the mics, working the literature counter, being the greeter...?

Interesting. I've never heard of such an announcement being made.
Could it be that HE is being shunned or has been marked for something and is trying to pull the wool over your eyes?

Why would anyone pay for a free bible?
I don't know, but people are paying...
So far, this same seller has sold 103 of them individually at $18.99 each.

I read a lot of very sad and even tragic things on this board, but none has broken my heart quite like this thread. Seeing the converstation...the goodbyes...I'm so sorry you both are going through this pain. so sorry.
I really wish the daughter and the mom here the best and hope that one day they can know each other again.

Why are there no black angels?
by snare&racket injw literature is racist as hell.
jesus looks like an american folk singer, the governing body look like a corrupt version of an enron luncheon.. the jw's literally print different magazines for africa with african pictures, black people instead of white, to make it 'more appealing' to them.... just to be clear that means they think the opposite is true too!.
....and then there is the lack of black angels..... .

BUT ..... BUT IF there was a god and IF he was running everything through 8 window cleaners in Brooklyn, then you would expect a little less racism. I bring it up because it is a real and legitimate issue. Why didnt we notice? Why didnt we question? How did we not think about the black brothers in the cong looking at literature that just did not represent them
I hate to tell you this, but we didn't notice because we're white in the United States. We grew up steeped in the privilege of seeing people who look like us in all media constantly.
It's good that at least we are noticing now...
