by leavingwt ini'm left to assume that sister jackson has concluded that michael will not be resurrected.
.. the matriarch of one of music's most famous families isn't planning any special preparations for the daily trek to a downtown los angeles courtroom where the trial begins may 9, but she says she'll rely on her faith to carry her through.. .

I always understood that if armageddon came whilst some-one is disfellowshipped they will not survive and if some-one dies whilst disfellowshipped they will not be resurrected.
I thought he was un-baptised though so by their stupid rules surely he would be resurrected? Sounds to me like she is going for the sympathy vote.

Miracles For Sale
by cofty innew derren brown documentary this evening on channel 4 (uk) 9-10:30pm.
his insights into human psychology is astonishing, some of his previous docs have been jaw-dropping.. "the entertainer investigates the reality behind america's faith-healing phenomenon, and chooses an unsuspecting member of the british public who is prepared to adopt the guise of a pastor.
the selected person then tries to perform healing `miracles' in texas after six months of learning, in an experiment to see whether he will be accepted".

I just finished "Paranormality" by Richard Wiseman. He explains the science behind out of body experiences and how to achieve the effect safely, coincidences and spiritistic practices. Loads of other stuff too with a barcoded web address so you can watch various controlled experiments posted on the internet. There are experiments to try out yourself too so it is fun as well as informative and practical.
Now I am half way through Kyria Abrahams "I'm Perfect You're Doomed. Really funny and I can relate to a lot of her child hood experiences especially the ones involving a younger brother!

My dream car was my Silver Ford Capri Sport with a red interior. A real head turner back in the seventies.
Since owning that car no other car has inspired me to want it other than, can I fit the kids in the back and the dogs in the boot, is it a nice colour and how loud does the stereo go?
For reliability and abuse taking my current car the VW Polo has been outstanding.

American purse = a British handbag. A purse goes inside our handbag and we keep our money in it.
" period = a full stop here. A period is something completely different for us females.
An American freeway is our motorway and a much cooler name for a dog. to
Your Jelly is our jam and for us jelly is something kids have with ice cream at a party.
And over here someone described as without pants is generally accepted to mean..... naked.

I have only become aware of child abuse since leaving so none while I was in.
Since leaving I have 2 friends on FB who have spoken to me about it. One was abused as a child but she has been disfellowshipped as an adult for apostacy. The other one, it was her son that was abused by an elder and after a year of nothing being done she went to the police. She too has since been disfellowshipped for apostacy.
