How do we encourage the science of homosexuality?
by sabastious inat one point in my life i chose to stop listening to my religion's advice to not research outside of their framework.
about the time i made that decision was when the gay marriage debate was going very strong; and still is to this day.
back then i felt like my state of california was leading the front on it to stop the bigotry and oppression once and for all.. it was a hot topic for me because i was questioning the bible and my faith so i started researching the science of homosexulality.

aSphere, your comparrison is legitimage, but there is no "hermaphrodite debate" going on right now so their is a big difference there.
Actually, Sab, these two are related. In a society where people are either male or female, and only men can expect to get married to women--and vice versa--this is a huge problem for hermaphrodites. If a person is a female on paper and a male in real life, and this person wants to marry a female, will he be allowed to, according to the law?

a study using census data from nine countries shows that religion there is set for extinction, say researchers.. the study found a steady rise in those claiming no religious affiliation.. the team's mathematical model attempts to account for the interplay between the number of religious respondents and the social motives behind being one.. the result, reported at the american physical society meeting in dallas, us, indicates that religion will all but die out altogether in those countries.. the team took census data stretching back as far as a century from countries in which the census queried religious affiliation: australia, austria, canada, the czech republic, finland, ireland, the netherlands, new zealand and switzerland.. nonlinear dynamics is invoked to explain a wide range of physical phenomena in which a number of factors play a part.. one of the team, daniel abrams of northwestern university, put forth a similar model in 2003 to put a numerical basis behind the decline of lesser-spoken world languages.. at its heart is the competition between speakers of different languages, and the "utility" of speaking one instead of another.. by new boy inwe are great friends now....but he wasn't much of a father growing up.. worked all the time...we went on few vacations....pretty much pussy whipped my my nazis jw mother.. he never did believe in the whole jw thing.
he just when along with it, for my mothers sake.. she never did respect him for not being a "spiritual head" and pretty much let us kids know about it.. i, like my mother became very self rightious and judgmental.. i wished now he had just came to me just once and said "keith maybe the jws are not the people you think they are.
" but he was to afraid of my mother to say that...even though he knew it to be true.i would have never believed him....back then....but it would have planted a seed.... .

This was one of my #1 reasons for questioning the WT and the Bible in general. Without giving too much info, I can say this point really hits home...
