We've been living in the last days since the days of the Apostles.
Sorry to rain on your parade, but most here are well versed in JW lore and end-times prophecies, and are bored of the subject.
first of all i'm confused about this http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/forum, either people who post here, is ignorant and dont wanna believe, or it's alot of ex-jw's.. cause i came here to discuss the bible(make note: i only read from the king james version and i'm not a witness) and everyone here is not agreeing with me on nothing..< at the witness-online.com when it was up, everybody was accepting that we are living in the last days... .
if you dont believe in the bible, why bother posting here, cause i wanna discuss the bible...

has anyone had this experience?.
after letting go of my beliefs as a jw, i felt the only alternative was to be atheist.
or maybe it is just logical to there is no god when i am only listening to my mind and not my heart.
Just to throw another few pennies into the debate:
Religious experience varies considerably.
Content of visions vary considerably.
NDE vary considerably.
Each man and woman's road varies considerably.
Just because our experience proves to be radically different from others, is no basis on writing off anothers experience.
Someone stated to me, recently, that "God meets us at our point of need".
I thought that was rather profound, and had a ring of truth.
Further, if we lack faith that God can work in a certain way, or give us a specific experience, maybe He just won't use that channel.
Generally people in a particular area, or church, tend to have similar views. Hence, if a church disregards visions, maybe visions will be infrequent and not talked about when they do occur.
Just on that point about faith, though, because I don't want to be misrepresented; Just because something doesn't happen, that we ask for, gives no reason to believe that the cause is lack of faith. Sometimes God just doesn't answer in the way we want, and we can be such petulant children, at times.
Is now a good time to throw Astral Projection into the picture?
according to common law dictionaries, here is one definition provided by bouvier's:.
clergy.
all who are attached to the ecclesiastical ministry are called the clergy; a clergyman is therefore an ecclesiastical minister.. 2. clergymen were exempted by the emperor constantine from all civil burdens.
In Britain I believe that all Elders are put on the list of religious ministers. This is reflected in the fact that Elders can sign blood Cards as "Minister", whereas other publushers cannot.
In Scotland they can ask to fill in an additional form to permit them to conduct weddings. I understand that this is just a formality, and had been considering it, myself, before I came to the conclusion that I would be leaving the borg.

I hope it's not too late, but I would edit your geographical details, in the last post, were I you.
They do try to track people down - they almost caught me at the Elder's school, last year.
Feel free to email, if you wish.

i am looking for more scriptures that can prove to a jehovah witness that god is jesus, and jesus is god.i found only one verse so far in 1jo:5:20: and we know that the son of god is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his son jesus christ.
this is the true god, and eternal life.. if you know more scriptures that say directly that god is jesus please tell me the verses the jhw will see plainly that jesus is no way an angel, and he is jehovah god almighty.. my friend said if i can prove by the bible only that jesus is god he will leave the jhw society, and he will know that they are teaching lies and they would be to him a dogma religious sect.
my friend gave me a booklet called should you believe in the trinity?, and is jesus christ the almighty god.

do anybody else believe that the messiah will return in our life time?
cause we all know that "peace & safety" is the last sign.. and i already mention that it's on a very low scale, it's come but has'nt passed yet(when billions believe everything is safe)... .
i believe it will come in my life time, i'm only 20 years old and i damn sure aint going to die... luke- 21-36 < is the way that you can survive up to the day of christ day....what y'all think?
All four of my grandparents said that.
They are all deceased.
Abaddon:
Reagan said "Peace and Security" in the mid-to-late eighties. I don't recall the circumstances.
I recall that a number of us "bruvvers" worked together at the time, and stopped work to listen to the announcement.
We were astounded.
One of the four of us are already deceased.
Of course, that's not to say that it couldn't happen in our time
Any update on that incoming asteroid?
these past few weeks i've spent a lot of time trying to decide how i want to proceed with the rest of my life.
one of my first decisions to carry out is to break free from the wts.
even though i've been a life long witness i feel no guilt or hesistation in leaving the only religion i've ever known.
It may be that the act of leaving the JW's will cause her to go her own way, anyway.
The truth is that it will likely hurt her greatly, and she may have great difficulty understanding why you are leaving the WTS.
Do you REALLY want to leave her, or is it just that you feel like you are in the doldrums with your whole life?
Are you considering a job / house change, as well?
You also state that you are a bit of a loner. Don't underestimate the fact that leaving the WTS will still hurt you at some level. I hope you have some real, flesh and blood, friends to help you through that period. The board helps, but can only do so much.
All of the above is from personal experience, as I left the WTS in January.

He WAS a DO in Scotland, until the last switch, having been replaced by Brian Scott. I'm not sure where he is now.

The Shorter Catechism, of the Westminster Confession of Faith declares that they are the same in substance, equal in power and glory.
I think we are taking about the same type of substance, not equality of quantity and purity.

or so the story's told.. their dying fire needed logs .. the first one held his back.
