i have been posting on a "crisis in the catholic church" discussion board about jws/pedophiles/dateline show.
it doesn't get much action, but i would like what i post to come across with the most impact.
We cant take away the hurt from the 'abused'...but we can do everthing in our power to stop the abuse from happening to others now and in the future. I think the 'abused' might have a better time dealing with what happened to them if they know that some sort of reform is taking place in the WTBTS.

well just look at the gushy praise of ct in "the finished mystery".
through st. john the lord jesus revealed the fact that the church would be developed during seven distinct periods, or epochs; and that for each of these epochs he would have a special angel, or messenger, to serve the other members of the body...the great master laid special emphasis on the importance of the messenger to the seventh, or laodicean, period of the church, saying that such an one would be "a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord would make ruler over all his household, to give them meat in due season.".
I find it interesting that Charles Russell claimed to be the "Laodicean Messanger"...given the following scripture in Rev. 3:14-16
To the Church in Laodicea

when jesus was on earth the devil approached him quoting scripture in order to tempt and entrap him.
it is no wonder then that the apostate angel would be behind the effort to use the scriptures against jehovahs people today in order to mislead them.
one of the most cunning and effective uses of scripture against us by satans agents is the charge that we are false prophets.
Its a good thing that we are under a new covenant...or we would have to stone the WTBTS :)

several enemies of the watchtower have ebulliently expressed the sentiment: let the games begin.
indeed, i too share that desire to let the games begin, so-to-speak.
but, what exactly are we to expect when once the games commence?
Jehovah's witness are under attack...not because of them being persecuted for their belief in Jehovah...they are under attack for
disobeying the "laws of the land" with regards to their harboring pedofiles and not reporting them to the authorities.
How is reporting pedofiles to the police going against God's organization?
The current attack on the WTBTS has nothing to do with the end times persecution that the JW's have always been hoping and waiting for...it has to do with their failure to comply with basic and moral laws that have set up in our country.
If they think this is the beginnings of Armageddon...they aint seen nothing yet.

while reading another thread on apostates, i did a quick search on the word apostate on the wt cd.
these people are really paranoid about us!.

Someone needs to draw an illustration of a "great crowd" of joyful, smiling people exiting a flaming and exploding Bethel...I think that would be funny. Just the building...I dont want anyone dying :(
