  The final chapter in the confusedandalone story...

  this morning i get a frantic call from my sister (who has been baptized 1 year and one month and never attends meetings anymore).

  in tears she tells me that this morning my father picked her up in the car and told her that i was am apostate.

  that i no longer loved jehovah and that i was going to be disfellowshipped.

  Bro do what you feel is best. Good advice here and lots of good vibrations and that's a big help in this situation. It was in mine when I decided to meet with the elders and face their pitiful accusations against me.

  Speaking truth to them felt amazingly good. Posting the recording online so all could get a view of these star-chamber kangaroo court proceedings felt even better and the feedback and support from this board and others was extremely helpful.

  Effect of family life (me, wife and young boy) if I am df / da and wife zealous jw

  i have a question and hope to hear some experiences of you who went or are going through this situation:.

  actually for several reasons (blood policy, disfellowshipping policy and some more) my conscience is telling me quite strongly, that i should not anymore be a part of that organization.. my wife and even elders know about my doubts (except blood policy).

  however i continue to join the meetings actually just to please my wife and to be together with our baby boy.

  Daniel my heart goes out to you bro. Go slow, do not DA yourself. Gradually start your fade away from the KH, try and gently and slowly study with your wife The Truth About The Truth.

  DO NOT make it easy for anyone to out you. DO NOT meet with the elders or tell them anything else. Use poor health and/or stress as your main ally. Tell JW people you are "waiting on Jehovah" and/or "throwing your burden on Jehovah."

  Go to the Dr. and get a prescription for Xanax or some other drug like that, even if you never use the pills, as you can now tell them that you are on medication from a Dr. and you are trying to reduce your stress and anxiety levels.

  You can also ask the elders for the phone line so you can listen in to meetings. Then when your wife goes or to others question you can explain that you listen in and that's all you can handle at the moment.

  Over time the whole situation will become more and more clear, that is my experience. PM me anytime if you want to talk.

  Former Elders? What did you not like about serving as an elder?

  a few of my pet peeves were:.

  the po/cobe knowing that he needed to have an elders meeting after the meeting but not telling any other elders.

  humm, but his wife knew.

  Late night meetings...one after another for a good while since there was only three of us elders on the body and well over 100 publishers. (I was in on easily 200 JCs in my estimate)

  Having to learn the sordid details of these publisher's private lives and then counsel them, and sometimes DF them...it killed me, especially at first and although I never said a word about any of those cases to my wife and she never asked, I would sometimes get home at midnight, completely wrung out emotionally, and just cry on her shoulder after slipping into bed. I HATED that.

  Diseases transmitted through Watchtower approved blood fractions?

  is it possible that hiv, hepathitis and other diseases could be transmitted by watchtower approved blood fractions?.

  The argument that not taking fractions protects them from tainted blood is a false notion, as Marvin's blog points out.
