Making jokes about a child that just murdered their mother is not funny or cool- it shows you have a serious problem yourself. That in my mind is a reason to lock a thread or ban a person from commenting here.

Michelle I love this letter- good for you, as you are going on the offense. As mentioned, it will do little good unless the legal angle is invoked as the elders and the whole JW congregation are above the laws of man and certainly above your wishes that the children not be pressured into baptism. You are just another "ignorant wordly person" that will soon die at Armageddon and they believe they will be saving your children by dunking them into the JWs.
I have completely de-programmed my two children over the last couple years and they now will never agree to baptism as their mother continues to urge them to do. It CAN be done- many others on here have been successful at it as well. PM me if you want to chat, and please let us know how things develop.

i'm really looking for basic judicial committee meetings, the ones where the scriptual basis is in question is ok like jim rizoli's or anton from watchtower uk outreach but i'm really looking for just a run of the mill judiciary committee meeting (ie fornication, etc.
) any help is greatly appreciated.

i know what the current "shepherd the flock" book, published in 2010, says about the process of appointing elders.
my question is, what was the written instructions before that?
i skimmed through the old "pay attention to the flock" book and didn't see an official process.
I don't believe the WT procedure on how to appoint elders did not significantly change from the Flock book to the Shepherd book.
