What Was Your First Experience In Exposing Yourself To "Apostasy"?

as a young teenager, i would look at "apostate" books at the city library.

i was always intrigued as to what was sooo bad and other than a few writings of some that seemed like they hated the witnesses, i would clandestinely look at literature, especially in "christian" bookstores.. it took years for me to finally disconnect.

i will say that ray franz' books enlightened me the most!.

Reading CoC and Captive to a Concept was all she wrote...

But when I was a hardcore pio-sneer years ago I was given anti-JW literature a couple times and I actually turned my head and tore it up over a dumpster and never even looked at it...I wish I had!!!

I personally don't think the video is very interesting or shows anything nefarious but that's just me.

both does a great job of defending me and making the elders look foolish!.

i thought i sent a goodbye message on fb to two jdubs that i used to hang out with.

it sounded like goodbye to me, without saying goodbye.

i cant decide if i want to curse or hug and kiss all the friends on jwn for giving me a bite of the red pill and allowing me the clarity i never had growing up.

we were raised one hundred-percent cult and our family obeyed all the rules that we could, some rules from the cult my mother refused to obey for a greater-good, like humanity, helping disfellowshiped ex-jws who were poor or depressed, she did not follow the cult's code of treating weak or mentally ill people like shit.
