yes, the may 15th watchtower is now available for download from jw.org.. the final study article, on page 26, directs another salvo at apostates - and warns witnesses not to try arguing with them on the internet:.

indeed, we ought to move as far away from wrongdoing as possible and not see how close we can get to it without being overcome by sin.

for instance, we need to guard against succumbing to apostasy, a sin that would make us unfit to glorify god.

Good points all. Also notice that the basis for their "warning" about so-called apostates is built upon Deuteronomy 13:6-9, which says:

"If your brother, the son of your mother, or your son or your daughter or the wife you embrace or your friend who is as your own soul entices you secretly, saying, 'Let us go and serve other gods,' which neither you nor your fathers have known, some of the gods of the peoples who are around you, whether near you or far off from you, from the one end of the earth to the other, you shall not yield to him or listen to him, nor shall your eye pity him, nor shall you spare him, nor shall you conceal him. But you shall kill him. Your hand shall be first against him to put him to death, and afterward the hand of all the people. (Deu 13:6-9 ESV)

This was speaking to the Israelites about not following false Gods such as Baal, Molech, etc. It has NOTHING to do with a person trying to help a JW to see that 607/1914 is wrong, or explain why there is no scriptural basis for refusing blood, etc.

"Apostates" are not trying to get you to worship Baal! (For the most part lol...)

an open letter from barbara anderson to watch towers writing department.

in 1517, martin luther wrote in a letter to archbishop albert of mainz: you must graciously forgive that i, that scum of the earth, am so bold as to dare to address a letter to you.. yes, i know, you think of me as scum, just like mainz believed of luther, wondering how i dare write you a letter, someone jehovahs witnesses disfellowshipped back in 2002. i was accused of being an unrepentant sinner and condemned for causing divisions, then labeled apostate because i spoke out publicly on nbcs dateline tv program aboutthe child sexual abuse policies that protected pedophiles policies that you helped formulate.

now is a good time to start making preparations for the memorial night demonstration at your kingdom hall thursday, april 5, 2012, after sundown.. close to 20 million people will attend this annual global witness event including active witnesses, relatives and friends of witnesses, bible studies,return visits and still attached former witnesses.

the evils of the watchtower org.have to be exposed and this is an ideal time to do it.. many around the world have been adversely affected by their association with jehovah's witnesses and you can be an instrumental force by standing tall and courageously exposing the watchtower organization.. there is no better way to let the watchtower know your revulsion than to broadcast and present your view by standing fearlessly, demonstrating in front of a kingdom hall.. i am fully aware that a handful of the internet therapists who post on this forum will not agree with this method of unmasking the watchtower.. those intolerant, contemptuous critics who will comment on this thread making harsh judgements and finding fault with those who protest are perhaps deep-down wishing they had the backbone to stop hiding in cyber-space, step away from their computer and "get out of the bleachers and into the game" .

lets make this a global event!......

person i would want to date was a ex-jw.. i look at the young lady my son is dating and they have.

@Jam - You asked if "the author" was a JW. The author of JWmatch.com? Or JWStruggle.com?

Either way, it shows me that rank and file Witnesses are doing what they think is best and not really following all the rules of the WTS...just like the Catholics do now when it comes to birth control and many other topics.

I'm torn actually.

He's trying to make a difference in his way. JWs that are intractable and unreasonable will be moved to even stronger belief in the WT Org perhaps due to his "persecution"...but some of the weak ones may be clicking on the internet afterwards.

There are many that claim to be pioneers, ministerial servants, etc. on JWMatch.

I guess they are theocratic but not heeding the advice of the Governing Body TM enough! There's a really good article on this topic with some screengrabs too:

in 1981 or 82 district overseer frank bartell in his last talk at a circuit assembly said that there was a terrible situation in cleveland ohio the previous year (1980).

there were 200 disfellowshipped and 200 publicly reproved.

witnesses there were making pornographic movies with each other.

If it's the Jaqueline that I know, then I can say that she is a credible sister and very intelligent and experienced.

I'm not a fan or apologist of Rick's but maybe Red21 has a point. Why pounce on each other so fast when we are all united in trying to expose the WT for what it is? Isn't the enemy of my enemy my friend?
