  brother of the hawk, newly enlightened & gojira, recorded an elder's meeting on 5/7/03.

  both does a great job of defending me and making the elders look foolish!.

  thank you raypublisher/jj and jwstruggle for the awesome job you did on it.. follow up story was not recorded but we will post it here hopefully over the weekend.. enjoy, it's pretty hilarious how they try to control us and come after me on a work of fiction!.

  Yep they just took it down at 2:20am this morning for, "Rejected (content inappropriate)".

  It had almost 7,000 views and nearly 200 comments on it. It can now be found on at least two other YouTube channels, one of which is here:

  I've been asked that exact same question a couple times. As was mentioned, I basically said: (Brackets are so you can insert what you're comfortable with and applies to you)

  i cant decide if i want to curse or hug and kiss all the friends on jwn for giving me a bite of the red pill and allowing me the clarity i never had growing up.

  we were raised one hundred-percent cult and our family obeyed all the rules that we could, some rules from the cult my mother refused to obey for a greater-good, like humanity, helping disfellowshiped ex-jws who were poor or depressed, she did not follow the cult's code of treating weak or mentally ill people like shit.

  is anyone aware if this project is already being done by someone?

  if not, perhaps we can brainstorm how to go about this, now that the pdf for the revised nwt is out.

  "Unfortunately we won't be able to legally distribute that since it will be composed of the Society's copyrighted material."

  But if someone already has obtained both copies legally (Like many of us have, by downloading them off JW.org) then they can legally view such a document.

  It's like someone running MAME on their PC and playing a ROM image of Space Invaders. It is legal to do so as long as you own the original ROM. (And yes I do have a rom chip from space invaders believe it or not!)

  I have not been following every bit of the tech side of this convo but couldn't you just generate a two-column document that has each translation matching up verse for verse next to each other like a parallel Bible?

  As long as they lined up fairly close then people could quickly scrutinize the two and find the interesting differences.

  ok so i watched the video and at about 07:25 the brother says that building 1.5 million square feet of construction in less than 4 years will not be done without jehovahs spirit.. .

  is that such a big deal 1.5 million square feet in 4 years?.

  merch mart in chicago took less than 2 years to build 4 million square feet.

  It was such a mouthful to say. It was the first video they ever released for order at the Kingdom Hall in 1989, on VHS tape and I was at Brooklyn Bethel then whikle the guy and his family were filming it so nearly everybody there then was in it somewhere.
