From the blog, some questions to meditate on, you evil, obsessed apostates!
first time poster.
i guess this makes me the scary a word.
arent apostates jealous?
New Chapter, incredible how far you've come in a year. I'm surprised myself, I never thought I would reach agnostic.
Really goes to show you what time does to a person.
this is an honest question on my part.
someone on this board asked me 'how do you know' a while ago and i really struggled with it.
in fact, it was a turning point for me.
If God/Jesus can read our hearts...knows what we would do with his knowlege if he shared it with us...he MUST contact people who previously knew nothing about him. If not....why not? Wouldn't that be unfair on people simply because they were born in the wrong part of the world, and weren't taught about him?
If the Bible account of God appearing to Cornelius in vision is true, then God should have no problem doing that a lot. And yet.....
so i remember a scripture, (i forget which one exactly) that is quite specific in that if a child has 2 unbelieving parents then god is going to kill that child.. but if a child has one believing parent then that child will be saved at armageddon.. how is this fair?.
i always even as a small boy found this to be utterly disgusting and not indicative of a loving fatherly creator.. not to mention some people would say that some would get a kind of 'benefit of the doubt' such as the mentally handicapped as they could not be expected to gain an accurate knowledge of truth.. and also the unrighteous who die now will be resurrected later.. so, if your a bad person but die your home free.. but if your an innocent child and your folks are too busy to go to the meeting, your worm chow..
wtf!?.
Inisc, it is obvious you don't understand the deep things of God. Do 10 Hail Mary's, mix with a Bloody Mary, and voila!
the wts ban on the transfusion of whole blood or primary components is established on a number of "principles" which when taken in their entirety give rise to the doctrine.. one important one is the refusal to distinguish between the consumption of blood by eating .
and the consumption of blood by surgically implanting it (transfusion).
we've all heard the "alcohol" analogy.
Inisc, I feel you. Reasoning is sometimes impossible. They simply adhere to what they are told.
A bit off-topic, what method would you choose if given the option? Bloodless or transfuse? I'd go bloodless, unless at emergency.
this is an honest question on my part.

So, how you "know" and how you "prove" are two entirely different things? Who would've thought?
please let me know the age of the youngest child getting baptised.. i knew of a girl of 11 years.. .
Baptised @ 10. Biggest mistake ever.
lets's go!!.
.
suffocating.
Obligation.
the latin fathers of the church has never described jesus carrying a "patibulum".
indeed, the early christians to represent jesus carrying the "crux", not the "patibulum".
it's a fact.
bsmart, all I remember about that is that on a stake, suffucation is induced much quicker.
