i'm an ms (accounts servant) in a large congregation in canada.

I agree that Outlaw's position seems reasonable, but I will repeat again, if God exists, why doesn't he settle the debate once and for all?

Argument against a GLOBAL Flood

how many people existed before the biblical flood?

in the bible from adam to noah they have around 1600-1700 years.

adam had at least three children (one dies and not counting the daughters) in a 930 year life span.

God created a hypercube within the Ark that allowed for more space than that which is normally allowable.

God didn't leave any evidence of a Global Flood, he wiped that out so that you could rely soley on faith about this account.

There are no arguments against the Global Flood. They do not withstand God's mighty power.

Did you ever shun people when you were a dub? How did it feel?

okay, i don't know lots of people that were df'd, but of all the times i've encountered df people when i was a dub, they actually blanked me!

it was always something that i had fixed in my mind that the jws had dead wrong, even when i was an uber dub.

i remember several times when i used to arrive late at meetings, and i'd make a point of getting eye contact with the poor dub at the back sitting on the naughty step.

What is your view of miracles

i am a born again christian, not a jehovah's witness.

i have had many experiences with god, hearing god's voice, seeing minor miracles, have seen a woman healed instantly through prayer in jesus name.

what is your view on the miraculous.

Because nobody can prove God doesn't exist.

But if God did exist, he could prove he exists, yet doesn't... kinda strange eh?

a video will be posted later today where all the mysteries of god, the disgusting thing causing desolation, all the contradictions in the bible, why god in the old testament seemed so cruel, why was satan created if god is good, how is god love?

all of the prophecies jesus had foretold which were hidden and lost yet being fullfilled the entire time.

this is the good news that will then spread worldwide, and then the end will come.

we had to go off grid for a time, time and half a time as we thought we had been outed.

fortunately it was a false alarm, but it was a stressful time.

i asked for my original diary thread to be deleted in case there could be anything on there to identlfy mrs smith and i. i am always very careful when posting, and am sure there was nothing on there, but felt it best to have it removed in order to be as cautious as a dove.

Pagan. Super-duper pagan. Jesus didn't erect an evergreen to commemorate his birth, rather he convinced his disciples to celebrate his death by eating his body and blood, symbolically of course. (Geez, that doesn't sound pagan at all...)

It's all good though, your body will serve as fertilizer for the New System. You will live on forever, just not the way you expected.

Pagan. This one I can understand. While it's an inoffensive excuse for adults to dress up, it really does have occult roots.

Then again, what is difference in glorifying zombies, and glorifying the resurrected Jesus? Zombie Jesus?

Happy Hannukah - You made God unhappy

Hannukah is actually the celebration of the retaking of the temple in 2nd century BCE. Honestly, the only reason I can see themselves trying to distance themselves from this is that it really is culturally a Jewish-only relevant celebration. How many Christians celebrate Hannukah?

It really makes no sense, however, to completely ban this celebration, as if anything it is rejoicing in gaining back God's own Holy Temple. But, whatever. None of this is supposed to make sense, only you are expected to obey.
