  Great post, Talesin.

  For over a year I lurked as an elder on H2O and this board. For some time I feared I was the most evil appointed servant in the history of the organization for lurking here. Gradually I learned I was not alone.

  JW Elders reading this, you are not alone.

  Finding serenity after leaving the JWs

  tonight was such an interesting and profound night for me.

  i went to class... well, specifically a class that i enjoy a great deal... with a professor who has inspired me since i began college...

  so i'm sitting there, listening to him lecture, watching him walk back and forth across the stage with this huge projection of the u.s. territories in the background... and for the first time in what seems like ages, my soul spoke to me.

  must say, that the arguments this site uses to refute the paedophile scandle are so weak, i wonder why they bothered.

Like brother Jaracz declared in the documentary of Panorama, Jehovah's Witnesses apply the scriptural command "Do not go beyond the things that are written" (1 Corinthians 4:6) also to the publications of the Society and therefore it will be evident to all Witnesses what their way of acting should be.

  anyone else have an aversion to dress clothes, now that you aren't forced to wear a suit and tie (women insert their version here) to sit a stadium for 8 hours on a summer day?

  being forced to do this as a young child traumatized me pretty good!
