What do you see when you look in the mirror?

when i look at myself in the mirror i see a different person than i saw a few years ago.

also, when i look at photos of myself from a few years back, i don't even know myself.

not that i look that much different physically -- it has something to do with the eyes.

I Haven't Forgotten...

...anyway i got into it with my mom and most of the family being present and sided with her that their was no way i could remember that i had seen a particular snake when i was about 2 years old.

so fortunitly, i was able to recall a certain incident where i was at the end of our driveway about 75 yards from the house this being in a rual setting with alot of trees and, a car pulls up, i am on the passenger side and that door opens and a man says he is the postman and told me to get in because he was going to take me to the store to get some candy.

sounded good to me, i remember i wanted to get in but couldn't try then heard the sound of my mom's voice very sternly saying my name and to come here...--end of story--

On days like this I feel it is better to keep the stuff "I haven't forgotten" to myself...

is this just one more example of the wts preaching one thing but practicing another?.

sound, reasonable loving advice is currently being presented on their official website in regard to "your role as a parent".

but how can the average jw take this into consideration----experts believe that overscheduling children with countless adult-led activities could stifle their imagination and creativity.

since it's mainly propaganda for non-believers, it's not surprising that they put little bonbons like this on it.

i love the promise of this poem - and it means even more since i left the org.. out there.

you'll see it all.. the floating ends will meet and mend and you will be yourself;.

your fully-formed self of selves.. every clumsy backward look will pay for itself.. every tear you've cried, or wanted to cry, will set your broken bones.. the rips in your heart will no longer need to be guarded.
