Kids being Sent to the Doors Alone
by TOTH ini saw something weird yesterday on my way out the door.
a hispanic jw mom had two kids of about ages 10 and 12 with her carrying invites to the memorial or maybe to the special talk.
anyways she sent the girl up the stairs alone to place whatever and the boy to a downstairs apartment.

The only JW driver on I95 (major highway for all who don't live in the US east coast) doing 90 MPH trying to avoid all of the driverless automobiles coming at you very fast...
Armageddon real needs to be very coordinated by God and his angels for all JW to make it safely into the new order of things.

I agree with Emptyinside... She probably thought the kids were safe since she was nearby but it was bad judgement using the "Kids are so cute" approach. A door slammed in their face and these kids will need major therapy for the rest of their life. BAD MOMMY!!!!

Usualusername... Thanks for the laughs. Who cares what missing in the bible. Live long, never join another organization, accept blood transfusions as they might extend your life before you become cosmic dust, never slap anyone cause you might go to jail, screw marriage (no pun intended), and masturbate everyday. Your question is very interesting. I have always wondered about this other inconsistency: If one JW passenger is flying on a jet plane with 350 other worldly passengers over the Atlantic Ocean and Armagedeon begins and the pilot and other passengers are cut into death.... what happens to the single JW passenger as the jet plummets towards the ocean? Will an angel give him a parachute? Will there be a life raft waiting for him on the ocean? Will Armagedeon only happen when there are no Jets flying? And don't get me started on what happens to a JW undergoing open heart surgery and the crap hits the fan. I have to remember this the next time they come knocking on my door.

Feeling a little weird today
by Bucholz inhello everybody, so i've been out of the wt for almost a year now.
i did go to the memorial last year, but that was pretty much the last meeting i attended.
thing is, as a born-in, i have never missed one, this will be the first.. don't get me wrong, i have absolutely no desire to go back, but after all these years there's a weird feeling about it.

The feeling will go away with time. It's just like a divorce. At the beginning you miss your spouse and your marriage. Then the memories just start to fade and you go on with your life in another direction. I wonder if your Grandfather who never calls you was counting his time so he can report it at the end of the month. Live long and enjoy each moment!

What should I do?
by Kool Jo init was announced a few days ago that a good friend of mine from another congregation was disfellowshiped...we knew each other for a few years, really appreciated her company, had a great sense of humor...someone you could talk to and confide in.. i'm still shocked to hear that she was df, she was a pioneer up to january...i'm very familiar with her congregation as i've visited there...we often text and exchange emails quite often.. .
she's not aware that i know of her being d/f...i don't know if she still goes to her to khall and feel really bad for her because after reading some of the stories online of what being d/f can do, i wouldn't want her to go thru that?.
i'd love to contact her and tell her not to worry and perhaps relate some of the experiences from this site along with some of the info i'm finding out...but i don't know if she's going to give in to the fear of being shunned and then tell the elders that i'm an apostate?.
