The CO that we have right now said that he belives that he will be the Prez. that will cause the ban on world wide religion and the End will come before he is done with this next term....lol

what was the worst meeting you ever attended ?

here's mine :.

back in the early 90's we went to the sunday talk and wt study.. lo and behold, a friend from the 70's who was df'ed ( he had just been reinstated) was there along with his parents.

i had no idea that they would have been there.. one of my kids was getting sick, so my wife and i were up-down the entire meeting walking him around.

They day I meet with 3 Elders in the back room for 2 hours drilling me alone about personal details of my life....

I think the best seed you can plant is to show him how happy you and your family truly are!! We have been told over and over that when you leave the truth, nothign but bad things will happen.. Show him that is not true. Show him how you are still a kind and loving person that the world has not changed your kind ways. .....Actions speak louder than words every could

im just curious about a couple things:.

1. most of you seem to be pretty satisfied that you left the the witness world but now that your gone what drives you now?

what makes you excited about life?

1. For me I am just now starting to fade out and I hope it goes well......But what has made me have the drive to do so is, my children...I also look back at all the things I wasted, like my year in college. So now I have stared to go back and do what I was alwated to do. I will be a social worker. I quit going because at the time I fell for the whole education not being important...
2. I just stared to post on her but I like it because like I said I am just starting to fade out so It helps me feel safe, I guess... It makes me feel like I am not the only person in the world that has to deal with this stuff.. When I read about others I see that I am no a lone in this. I too wont be on this site but if it takes me 1000's post to help me move on then that is what I will do :)
3. I dont agree with the witness world but i still believe in God......I believe that It is important to keep looking and to keep asking questions. I feel that we should not scsred to look or ask questions because the truth is the truth and if we question it, it should lead right back to the truth.... So when the witnesses get scared of people asking questions it only makes me believe that the truth is no in them..

1. Yes Someone found me in the door ro door work and this siter had found 2 other people as well..... However I knew someone that had sent her to me..
2. No way, I have never felt ok with selling the watchtower. I always only went to read the Bible with people so I have a few calls that I just use my Bible with. I like those a lot.

HAHAHA Anyway I am posting this because I was wondering how everyone who has faded got to get off the school..... I have never ditched on a talk before so I'm sure I wont be in too much trouble but I m sure they will says something so what do I say?
