Looks like seniority keeps the ones who are remaining still in the house...at least for now. And those are probably couples with absolutely nothing to go back to...no homes, no possessions. It's easier to send singles back out into the world, for the Borg at least.

My grandparents were Freemasons!

i was looking up something about the symbols on russels grave and came across a web site freemasons cemeteries and cemetery symbols that talks about those things and amongst them was the order of the eastern star!

i realized in doing my geneaology that my moms mom was a member of the eastern star and that in order to be so you have to be related to a freemason!

and that the eastern star while not a religious sect in itself, is based on religious ideology and has members apparently of deeply religious convictions.

How the hell I went for 50+ years of life not knowing this is beyond me. But take a look at this web site that talks about becoming a Freemason. BECOME A FREEMASON briefly anyway... the bottom paragraph caught my attention....

" What happens when an initiate wants to leave freemasonry ?

It is sufficient that he makes his decision known and his Lodge can put him to sleep, which means that his dropped from membership. According to some rumors it is not possible to leave the Order without running the risk of undergoing a terrible punishment. That is, of course, out of the question. as long as i've been here, i have preached that $$$$$ will be the only way for the wt to drop.. many agree on a small level, but think the wt has deep pockets.. they may have deep pockets, but i bet the investments they have have lost quite a bit since 2001.. my main calculation reguards the following hypothesis::::::.

magazine and literature consumption -vs- donations.

The bottom line for them is their FOLLOWING. They might have cash out the yin yang but the membership is dropping off...INTEREST in their crap is definitely dropping off...a couple more "THE SKY IS FALLING THE SKY IS FALLING!" predictions and all that cash wont be worth a day at the beach in hell.

Well...when I was ready, I was ready. And in the end my kids are MINE save for that ONE SPERM that was contributed towards them. So I vote go ahead and have one. Seriously...if you dont it will be bugging you because you want one.

You are a bright lady...you can figure this out and Im quite sure you understand they arent part time hobbies and take up a lot of time! (space, sleep, energy, money....wipies.... LOL!)

Just because he was buried in the Masons cemetary within 100 feet of masons headquarters...probably meant nothing.

Besides which the guy was a wacko and changed his beliefs and his ideals once a week. All you have to do is look at that pyramid and all the crap written on it about him and all the symbols on it...and the creepy picture on his headstone to know he was a taco short of a combination plate.
