Kin....and in both circumstances the child has no choice and the child doesnt know any better....except in the case of the Catholic child, if he decides to go to the Lutheran Church when he grows up, his family wont shun him.

I know all these people! How cool :) Love them ALL! Went to court with Duane Magnani in a child custody case. Was like watching a fine craftsman. I used to date an MS who started working for Trimline like many JWs did in 1985. He "practiced" pinstriping my Subaru station wagon LOL. I think he was still doing that when I lost track of him. My brother in law still does pinstriping.

Horrible conduct by congregation Elders at my cousin's funeral.............
by RULES & REGULATIONS inmy cousin passed away last week from cancer at the age of 49. the cancer spread so fast it took our family by surpise.
we figured she had a couple of years instead of months.
she left 4 children(3 were baptised and 1 was disfellowshipped a couple of years ago).

God Mary.... I can FEEL the heat coming off you still over that! I dont think I WOULD have been able to restrain myself from pushing his ass off the porch. And he's thinking "Gosh...how can I spin this into a part on the District Assembly for myself? And have somebody from Bethel patting me on the back and telling me what a faithful and spiritual brother I am!" While you are WILD with grief they dont give a fuck how they hurt you.
If my husband dies before me...there will be NO JWs allowed there except his one sister and her family. NO others. I wont have it.

I left a Jehovah's Witness in a quandry.
by orangefatcat ina couple of days ago i was coming home from church, in the afternoon, upon entering the building i saw one on of my neighbours sitting in the foyer, she also attends the same church as i do.
i felt as if someone was behind me and i looked up to see and i was right there was a person and she was a jehovah's witness.
she attended the same hall as i did but a different cong.

Assholes. Ok...correct me if Im wrong but arent the Elders the ONLY ones who are ALLOWED to talked to the DFd and DAs? Wouldnt those circumstances be PRIME to embrace a long lost brother and make him feel like he was still loved and encourage him to return to the fold? Instead they take that somber opportunity to punish him MORE.
They should all be taken out behind the Kingdoom Hall and stoned!

the watchtower always uses the old testament verses to support this, so elders don't really have a leg to stand on.

He is torn to shreds. I feel very very bad for him. We are all feeling that loss. Well most of us anyway. There is no GOOD way to leave the JWs. The elders might be kind to his face but the minute he leaves they will start bad mouthing him saying he's with satan and wants to do worldly things ....like they did the rest of us.
I hope he comes here. Or...to the next forum.

by yadda yadda 2 inthe nearly 10% increase in partakers at the memorial in the 2008 annual service report is a huge increase.
there were increases in the previous years too.. this massive increase is no doubt attributeable to the 'new light' this year that the calling of the 'heavenly class' was not closed in 1935, as previously taught.
the new understanding this year is that the calling of the 'anointed' class is 'evidently' still open.
