As long as you try to be good to your fellow man ( and oh yeah, woman!) you will be fine in the after life. Besides IF and I mean a big IF the JW's had it right, He would have to save us because it was the fault of his earthly org that made us leave..Anyone for Kool-Aid..yuck yuck!

Bringing reproach on the organization..

hey, i got a question... the jw's won't even let the men have beards for 'fear' that the 'image' will scare some of the people while going door-to-door (or at least that was the reason i was given why beards are bad)... why is it that they are being hypocritical (i know, hard to believe they are hypocrits huh?

) and allowing even potential child molesters from going door-to-door?

after all, if they don't want to stumble anyone with a beard, why would they allow someone to be stumbled with an accusation of child molestation hanging around them?

Visiting my family awhile ago, a JW friend of my brother came up to me and said "take your earings out, shave your gotee and come back to meetings".. What about my tatoos? Oh and my love for sex hehe!!

Dubs don`t like to Tip

a post made by alanf just made me remember about going to restaraunts with dubs.for the most part they don`t like to tip.my parents and the dubs they went out with were not poor people.my mom would have a fit if she saw my dad tip.most dubs i knew were the same way.did the dubs you were around,like to tip?...outlaw

I had attended a profesional convention once. They brought out that the JW's were the "cheapest" when they went to their conventions according to some survey. Worldlys (sp?) are going to die anyway, they don't need the extra money! lmao

well, as i've mentioned before, even though i am an ex-jw at heart, i am still forced to go to meetings and occasionally in field service due to my circumstances (live at home with parents).

my time out in field service is pretty low, as i only spend like an hour a month out just to keep my family off my back, and that hour is usually one hour of rv with some poineers, so i can't remember the last time i actually really went out, or spoke to anyone at the door .

i guess out of "spiritual" concern, by uncle sent me the following article a couple of weeks ago:.

When I think of twenty-two years of banging on doors @ a few hours a week, then the other five at the meetings and of course, the summer pioneering...Could have spent time doing more constructive things..
