Miscellaneous PC Issues & Tips
by ProdigalSon ini apologize if this sounds like a commercial, but i would like to share some info about a fantastic program that i've been using on my laptop for the last five years or so.
i've never had one that lasted this long, they usually would go in the garbage after 2 or 3 years.
from just normal usage, pc's get fragmented registries, misaligned files, all sorts of errors, accompanied by ever increasing blue screens of death.

I am not so sure this is awesome. Our DNA contains a lot of viral and bacterial DNA. In part it's responsible for helping fuel "rapid" evolution among higher order animals and for making us who we are.

Get ready - the final end of everything October 21
by wannabefree inperhaps this has already been addressed, i looked ... i thought you might want to know, not much time left ..... harold camping .... some time after being released from a nursing home in june after suffering a stroke, camping, released an audio message on family radio's website saying, "we would have not been able to be used [by god] to bring about the tremendous event that occurred on may 21 of this year, which probably [will] be finished out on oct. 21 that's coming very shortly.
that looks like it will be ... the final end of everything.".

Degragmenting the pagefile works for roughly 30 seconds.
You want your laptop or desktop to run smooth?
- Use a good AV app. Plenty of good free ones available.
- Defrag the disk every now and then
- Don't install every random app you come across
- Use firefox and run Adblock
- Browse in private mode or delete all browsing history every once in a while
there you go, that's all there is to it.

Creating God in Our Image
by PSacramento inaccording to genesis, god created man in his image:.
"let us make man in our likeness".... but according to many it was man that created god in his image.. and perhaps they may be right.. while i certainly don't agree that if there is a god, we created him in our image but ido agree that, as humans, we created our understanding of god in our image.. that is why we give god the qualities we posses:.
he gets angry, he is jealous, he is vengeful, etc, etc.

Which arguments for or against God are convincing to you?
by mankkeli in1) kalam argument -- what begins to exist has a cause, the universe began to exist, therefore the universe has a cause2) the design or fine tuning argument -- the regularity of the universe suggests the existence of an intelligent creator3) the ontological argument 4) its impossible for "something" to come from "nothing"5) the argument from morality.
a moral law giver must exist6) the argument from experience.
the proof is in the pudding.

Speakng of which, I always find it fascinating why other perfectly rational people choose to believe the most outlandish and impossible stories, like "That stripper really likes me for who I am, not just because I was stuffing $20's down her panties."
Amazing, really.

Your question to the OP makes no sense. He cannot control if someone chooses to post a strawman argument.
