  PC . . . I have just finished listening to your first broadcast from start to finish.

  Your guest and the discussion you had was exceptionally well developed.

  My wife and I along with one of my sons listened with great interest, looking up cited scriptures from several translations as the discussion unfolded. Especially poignant were the points raised from 1.20 onwards.

  You have taken me through a learning curve that I am still ascending and look forward to elaborating further.

  If this is an example of what you can achieve in this endeavour then all I can say is . . . do not abandon it.

  After following recent threads here on JWN . . . you have the skills and insight to benefit a great many young people. Young people with little in the way of resources to find their way, let alone the wider understanding and acceptance they desperately need.

  Sincere congratulations to you . . . don't give up!

  PS; The maturity and professionalism of your approach makes other religious broadcasters look decidedly "Tabloid"

  Had the magazines left at my house today and wanted to "SCREAM" after reading this article in the May 1,2011 WT

  the article that caught my eye as i was thumbing through it was on page 18 entitled "a peaceable people defend their good name".

  this was all about the issues being addresssed in russia and how the j.w.

  's were being oppressed/repressed.. but if you look in the box to the left under "a note to the citizens of russia", you will see that they quote the scripture in luke 12:2 "there is nothing carefully concealed that will not be revealed, and secret that will not become known.".

  If the hypocrisy of the WT gets to you . . . I mean REALLY gets to you enough to make you scream . . .

  Draft a letter relating what you know to be true about this cult . . . include links where appropriate . . . and send it off to every Russian Govt Dept and as many Russian news agencies you can find . . . and tell them.

  It's much more satisfying than screaming . . . and more likely to do some good.

  I make a practice of doing it at least once a week to someone somewhere.

  The testimony of ex-members, especially long-time ex-members, often gets taken seriously . . . you'll be suprised at the occasional response.

  And it only takes 20 min or so.

  seriously this time.

  its not the nicotine that drives me nuts (i chew the gum) it's that hand mouth desire or lack of it.

  i am finding myself chewing on pencils or whatever else is around me.

  I'm giving it another go too . . . started today . . . 5 hours into it and I'm a rock buddy!

  It's only about the 7th attempt in the last year . . . but with an anxiety disorder and a shitload of Earthquakes . . . well, you get the picture.

  This time I'm gonna make it stick!

  Atheism is worse I think . . . marginally. Godless . . . denying his very existence.

  Leaving WT for another religion . . . maybe more "foolish" in the eyes of the "superior" self appointed owners of truth

  Not just a gift . . . but a "free" gift . . . no strings? . . . unconditional? . . . it's either free or not . . . can't have it both ways.

  And what of "the wages sin pays is death" . . . why does this not apply to those who lose their life at the big A? . . . according to the Bible principle . . . they've paid the price . . . clean slate . . . like all those who have died . . . including some downright assholes.

  Last question . . . how do you think the JW's would feel if the whole world converted at the last hour . . . disappointed? . . . cheated?
