It fosters an entitlement spirit of superiority among JW's (Due to my good works for the WT, I'm gonna be there), and makes a mockery of God's Grace (Salvation is a gift; it can never be earned).
Just my thoughts.

kinda like going to heaven?
" (Salvation is a gift; it can never be earned)."
Exactly Syl,
if you have to earn what was given out of love, it is no longer a gift
Hear ye, Hear ye, all active Jehovah's Witnesses, turn in your field service reports
or you won't get into paradise, continue to count your time, And be sure to
show that you have earned your salvation. That's right, show the world that Jesus
couldn't do nothin' for you, cause you earned salvation on your own, through in by your
field service reports
Kinda like going to heaven, Minimus.
Very selfish - and narcissistic.
I saw through that as a child.
Hey, WasBlind.

No - I don't see any superiority. Now all you people get back to work, and leave all the posting in my capable hands... ;)
That's the attitude they display, Bally.

Ain't we in the same time zone?????
It is also materialistic and designed to appeal to "fleshly desires"..........If anybody suddenly became in possession of fabulous wealth, what would most people want to do?
They would buy themselves a beautiful home surrounded by parkland, they would acquire some animals to pet and ride. They would raise their family in peaceful surroundings, surrounded by friends. If that could go on eternally in good health that would be their dearest wish. And would it not be great to have the world rid of all the unpleasant ones who happen to disagree with you................Mmmm that is really fantasizing !
When a worldly person works to obtain these things he is derided as a materialist . When a dub "keeps their eyes on the prize" he is being "spiritual"!
