  Yeah I do 1975 . . . to be honest? . . . I'm not sure one way or the other.

  My post is more playing the role of "the devil's advocate" . . . offering something else for the sake of scrutiny. It is disturbing to think that such a thing could involve conspirators with thier own agenda who would inflict so much destruction on innocents for selfish or political reasons . . . but I don't discount it for a minute.

  MrFreeze, type in "Firefighters comments on 911 Tower Destruction" on your computer.Where did these extra explosions come from especially on the lower floors?

  Yep . . . did that . . . and I don't see the slightest evidence of man made or "extra" explosions. Firstly, the corner of the tower has quite plainly suffered significant structual damage and likely on the point of collapse as a result. The emission of some small amount of flame along with the larger bursts of dust are obviously (to me anyway), the result of the air escaping as the floors above pancaked . . . squeezing out dust and the remnant of burning aircraft fuel and other combustibles. The fire fighters description was of a scale of collapse they had probably never witnessed before and they simply likened it to a series of explosions as the pancake effect compounded, This phenomenon would continue all the way down throughout the collapse. Great food for the conspiracy theorists though LOL

  As for the "angled cut" . . . it's only the result you can see. That the molten material covering the beam is "molten metal" is not certain for a start. There seems way too much excess for the result of a gas cutting exercise. And to have the excess on the outside would mean it was cut from the inside outwards . . . huh? I would expect structural beams to fracture in a variety of ways depending on the forces they are exposed to. It would be more unusual to my mind if every severed beam were dead straight . . . that would be strange. It's making the facts fit the theory . . . wrong way round I believe. For example . . . the beam in question may have descended among the debris and spiked into the ground. The angle cut (now upright) could simply be the 45 degree join that severed when it let go. It's not certain that it stands upright in it's original position. A picture like this can tell a very misleading story if taken at face value. Gas torching a beam in advance? . . . not very likely.

  The collapse of tower No7 began in the lower floors as a result of damage there from the enormous energy and debris released from the previous collapse. The small emissions from widows along one side were once again air being compressed from lower floor pancaking and being emitted from the stair well. Such collapses will be accompamied by "explosive" noises as multiple structual elements give way. There were no explosions . . . the buildings all fell as a result of the initial aircraft impacts.

  i have been an avid reader on this site for a few years and have weighed in on a few topics and introduced a few more without introducing myself.

  for this i apologise.

  the main reason for my reticence is that being a second generation born in but having been baptised in the 50s i will find it difficult to make an introduction without giving the game away.

  she understands but thinks that the advantages of the "truth" outweigh the disadvantages. She thinks that I have become negative, always picking holes in things, that is of course true.

  Respectfully . . . it's a slanted viewpoint. You could also say the advantages outweigh the disadvantages in a 'normal' life. In my experience, active JW's see nothing positive in the "world" . . . always picking holes in it . . . when actually there is plenty that is positive. Actually, the advantages of normality most definitely outweigh the disadvantages (if there are any) IMHO.

  I wonder why he felt the need to take such steps . . . his forest became the local hotspot for pedophiles? . . . good on him anyway, there's nothing wrong with giving the problem some exposure. He could probably start a business making and selling those signs.

  In my experience as a parent faundy . . . the mother/daughter relationship will always have the potential to be stronger than a sibling relationship. When you factor in the upcoming birth, the situation seems understandable to me. Siblings often carry rivalry in some measure right through life and we often demand most in our expectations from our brothers and sisters. I don't think there is a personal element beyond that.

  Unfortunately, the unspoken attitude toward your sexual orientation is born from an ingrained WT anathema toward gay people, and this is very sad. But it's based on ignorance and misplaced Bible-based bigotry.

  I believe the current shunning policy is as stringent as it's ever been . . . necessary business only . . . so a close relationship with your mother is a no no. However, let it ride . . . your Mum may in time make some headway and create a personal re-think for your sister. Possibly, your sister will then have a spiritual crisis to deal with in order to keep the relationship . . . the outcomes from that can only be good for everybody.

  on the news the other day they showed a young man after graduating from high school went out and got drunk and had a bad car accident.

  he was paralyze from the waist down.

  instead of going into deep depression of what he did to himself he started his life over and went to college and was involved in inventing a exoskeleton for disable people.
