PAGAN SYMBOLS & THE BORG

does the society have any sort of explanation as to why they condone absolutely ever pagan symbol in relation to all the worldly holidays, but allow all christians to wear a wedding ring, a totally pagan symbol that originated in egypt?.

or are we showing a lack of faith by asking such a question..........

WHAT IS DEJA VU??

i think everyone has had an experience with deja vu; i know i have and it's really freaky when it happens.

i'll be standing there talking to someone and that feeling comes over me that i've done this before; i've had the exact same conversation with this person and i can even predict what they're going to say.. with someone i know, that's one thing; having this experience with someone i've never met before is really bizarre.. i've heard all kinds of theorys as to what deja vu is: a "delay" in the brain, reincarnation, someone in the future has changed the past and we sometimes 'repeat' things, it's all in your head, it's satan.......... i'd be interested to hear what sort of experiences you've had with deja vu and what you think it is........ .

i dont know much about the brain and how it works but this is generally what i think happens

i think of deja vu like this

all your experiences in your life stored in your brain as bits data.

but not in one whole data chunk .

but in millions of bits of data fragments ..

the smell memorys stored in the smell files ...the colour memory data stored in the colour file .(ok not as simple as that much more comlex but you gte the idea)

when you have a memory its because you have triggered one of these bits of data and it in turn triggered all the other related files.you smelt a flower..it triggers a memory data file in the smell directory .you remember it smells like your mothers purfume ...the smell file triggers other related files and you remember your mothers face the cardigan she was wearing the colour of the cardigan.how it when you snuggled up to her and got the perfume memory etc etc etc etc...

ok now the dejavou thing

imagine your out side on a cold night holding open a car door telling a friend that "ill see meet you where the car his broken down" you stop and say hey hang on we've doen this before..or hey dejavu.

you can find no way that it would be possible for this event to have happened before (for whatever reasons )but yet you know youve experienced it you get a shudder because you there is no memory but the conviction that this event its self happened before.

i think you trigger a piece of memory data.it could have been the hand on the cold car door for example ..this data found lots of other files but not enough to present you with your memory ..but its done so much work and has to complete its job..so the brain substitutes the missing files with the newly aquired data (you out side in dark holding car door and talking)

you had available many files which corresponded to the event taking place and the brain believed there was a memory available but finding it was unable to complete the task of presenting a memory through failing to find enought data it compensated with the new data it had just recieved .

and so the brain presents it as a memory....of course because this fake memorys has just this minute happened yo have a double event feeling.this happend before..yes it did lol 2 mins ago.

if you think your brain wouldnt lie to you .go and visit ppl who insist that their arms belong to their husband.there not mad...drs have been able to prove in many circumstances that your brain can be a real fibber at times.

with dejavu enough memory must be available to fool the brain in to completeing the task.

i found de javu tends to happen with events that have repetitive elements in them eg cars night cold metal , tv ,standing up ,certain words,certain types of food,recurrent things in life

it could be that our lives are often repetitive ...resulting in repetive data and repetitive data strings

which trips up our brain and memory function at times.

a full set? i can only find a few lendables (which the libary dont want to lend!!)........and a few second hand books at the book shops...whose randy waters wheres he get his books from? is that where all the books are disapearing to ;) ................i like to read it from the books them se;ves ....helps to make it solid in my head that thats whats been said as truth...

i wonder what happens to all the ppl who died believing pagan teachings like god on pluto or where ever it was and the giza pyramids ..would the society think they DOOMED!! even thought they taught it? or thr ppl that left cause they didnt belive it are they DOOMED!!

i bet i can guess the ones that died beliving it are saved the others are toast

1914 and other things ,lurkers

i thought maybe someone out there would like to see my notes form some origianal wts books i got hold of .. it's old news to the forum memebrs and not for them but for the lurkers and the newppl and slow ppl (like me) who are wading throught lotss of information and trying to find our whats what.

i was mostly interested in finding answers( to accusations of lies and deciet )in print from the wts its self .you might find this usefull and you might not .

it covers basically wts beliefs in early days though even earlier material i could not get hold off.. the following are notes with some word for word quotes copied from origianal books.

.all that stuff was a revelation to me. but if you lok in proclaimmers book you find most of it mentioned in passing.Like 1925 and the prophets not arriving it says on page 78 that some abandoned hope but others kept faith.

pyramid worship is mentioned in proclaimers on page 210 as something the WTS has abandoned..but its interesting to note that it only mentions a watch tower articles and not the book plan of the ages which i where this idea was taught .if you look at page 161 you get an idea of why..

the book plan if the ages is still used to back up other teachings...and even the famous diagram of a pyramid is used to show gods plan for mankind ...and the wording shows that this is in harmony with teachings not something disapporoved of..very strange startrek style goings on here
