Those plain statements (because they did not conform to the organizational "pattern" of interpretation) were/are depicted as distorted teachings giving evidence of "apostasy." How effed up are they to tell you, me or anyone that such basic and clear statements that contradict their teaching signify apostasy? But they do and they suck because of it. Corvin

Does this mean in when Jesus took power 1914 According to the WT) that all should have obeyed the WT or the annointed ones who were his mediators? Were these annointing ones expecting to be ruling the whole world? That is a chilling thought. Imagine department stores full of JW wear?

seasonal colours for men = spring black, summer black ,autum black ,winter black .

ladies dresses colours = what ever colours the local Elders like most and consider modest -red will be banned (as will all make up and nail varnish)

all cloths will be mass produced in WTS magazine wholesome family patterns to avoid any sign of rebellious individuality

we will be in the sewers eating rats and forming underground movements

Baptismal Pool

the other day i received an email from a man in croatia, who sent me and someone else a copy of a picture from a wts magazine.

i wasn't quite sure about the contents, but it looked to be legitimate----but being in croatian i was not sure of what it actually said and i ended up putting it aside intending to check it out (if possible) and then forgetting all about it.

he had also sent this to another person, who went to the trouble of verifying the facts and getting an understanding of what was being said in the picture.

i think most people would see a UN logo as unimportant in their lives ,this as a tiny unimporant issue which iswhy some people here can can say thinsg such as "what does it matter"

however i would like to see you attempt this sort of reasoning within your local congragation perhaps a little issue such as a ring with a star on or a henna tatoo not even permenant or wearing trousers to meetings etc see how far your rational gets you then.

i can well remember article that pointed out that how things look is important ,think this was the beard issue.even if your not a student activist you might look like one and thats what counts. the WTs have gone on about this yet on such an important issue as the beast it suddenly doesnt count.!!!

the reason people are pointing fingers is because it is the WTS that has made such tiny issues like this so big in peopels lives ..its totaly natural that people will judge them by the standards that they dicatate .

a new believer being baptised in a pool advertising "the Beast"

of course they should have said no if only so new belivers didnt have to thank "the beast" for allowing them to be baptised..its hypocrasy ot then expect them ot go on to see the Un as evil when it has allowed them to be baptised...i mean satan is really letting himself down if the UN really was satan.

has satan joined the WTS or somthing that hes providing baptisum pools.

.for years we've been fed stories of how brothers and sisters have gone with out and suffered so as to keep their principles.you cant even give money to a good cause if its not JW cause.

As far as I remember, to the WT the UN is "bad" as part of Satan's political empire, but no more so than any national government. Would they refuse to hold an assembly in a public building displaying the national flag? I guess not. So what's the difference?

this is quite weird study is the WTs going for world domination?

The rulers of the earth?should have acknowledged the King immediately and rendered him full obedience.
There is still time for individuals to find safety?true even of individual rulers

the WTS is the only way so they are saying all world leaders should become JW's they would of course answer to thier local congragations!!!

or they would stand down from power and the next ruler becomes a JW untill eventually no rulers left excpet the governing body .

so the world would be run by the WTS either way according to what the WTS think should be happening

heaven help us........ my blood just went cold

after breaking promises for so long political leaders get dumped by thier party and country

i wonder how many false end of world start dates the world could put up with

i enjoyed reading your interview

it was so wrong that you were kicked out .especially as you and the woman you were engaged to went to the elders about your relationship.what a lesson in how honesty is not always a good thing.

i think its a shame that in the end all they could do was use emotional tatics such as :are you saying my father would cover things up, do you think brothers would deliberatly lie an cover up ( or stuff to that effect.and accusing you of nit picking !! well .that said it all....

one minute they the WTS society is jehovahs only true organization spreading religious truth ,well organized world wide ,fighting battles in courts for the good of mankind like some religious amnesty international then ......

the next minute they are just a bunch of simple lil christians making mistakes but trying there best

they have got all angles covered here .

Catholic girl denied communion

don't know if y'all have seen this, but it strikes me as very 'watchtower-ish".

basically, regardless of your desire to 'do what is right', if you can't do it how they say it's 'right', then you're screwed.

among dubs who are true believers(tm) they will readily admit that their religious leaders have "made mistakes.

" few of them however, will admit that their leaders are intentional and calculating liars, dirty rotten lying liars who lie in order to blind their flock and to conceal their own dirty laundary and miserable failures in both doctrine and policy.

the procalimer book is a night mare to find info in..the info is spread all over the place 1914 details are from the begining to a chapter right at the end .

i can understand why JW's dont spot the ticky bits

they spread it all out so much amoung the boring stuff like pcitures of printers and how many runs a printer made*yawn*

took me a while to spot the plan of the ages diagram used to support teachings was from the same teaching about pyramids mentioned briefly in another chapter as being a traching they dropped.

honestly who reads that boring stuff anyway when theres interesting magazines articles that you simply should be reading about flies and ants and birds ...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
