  question for older ex-elders

  i have only just begun to talk to my father about why he left the truth.

  i know why he stepped down as an elder many years ago but we have just scratched the surface about why he "faded" in his 60's i would say (he is now 74).

  i just wonder how much leaving the "truth" that much later in life has an effect on depression, anxiety, anger (he joined in his 30's)?

  Help Please. Mother says she can prove I will die using the bible alone, no WT literature

  as if the last one didn't cause enough trauma (you would have to read my old posts)...really, you can sit through that shit twice???

  i was having a good week, thought i was finally over the last sunday she got home.

  i guess my only answer at this point, for my own sanity and happiness, is to avoid her.

  I've written the letter...

  i kept it short, a two sentence paragraph.

  i also feel i've been given some very sound advice and have decided to keep it for a few days and just make sure i'm not making a rash/emotional decision.. thanks to everyone of you on this site.
