Hello,
do you find normal that:
“It is interesting to point out that nearly a year after ceasing its policy of
disfellowshipping Jehovah’s Witnesses who accept blood or the blood
products that are still forbidden, the WTS has never informed the publishers
of the change. (As from April 2000).Only congregation elders have been
informed “

Hi Frenchy,
may be you I was not clear in my quotes
but it boils down to a certain confusion, which leaves for
today - among others - this question:
-Who did appointed the elder which, in his
9 years as an elder for the last 7 years
did abuse of children and still served
as an elder?
* Men? Jesus Christ? Holy spirit?
Sorry for the question,

Hello,
please read this one.
*** w65 6/1 352 Questions from Readers ***
In 1938 Jehovah revealed this correspondency to his servants and it was published in The Watchtower in a two-part article entitled “Organization.” (°°
This appeared in the issues of June 1 and 15 and proved conclusively that Jehovah’s organization must henceforth be guided and directed by Jehovah’s spirit through the visible governing body made up of those servants whom Jehovah himself would appoint. The concluding paragraph in this series stated: “Jehovah’s theocratic government is now in full control of the people of God.”

GOVERNING BODY
According to the apostolic example of the first century C.E., these dedicated,
baptized Christians known today as Jehovah’s witnesses have
a governing body, as specifically noted from the year 1944 onward.
and this:
*** w71 12/15 760 A Governing Body as Different from a Legal Corporation
HOW THE GOVERNING BODY CAME TO EXIST
According to the facts available, the governing body became associated
with the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society of Pennsylvania.
C. T. Russell was patently of that governing body back there in
the last quarter of the nineteenth century.

Compared with this one:
*** w71 12/15 758 A Governing Body as Different from a Legal Corporation ***
Hence the question arises, Can this majority of voters who are made up of such “other sheep,” by
voting in the directors of the Watch Tower Society, at the same time be voting in the members of
the anointed governing body of the “faithful and discreet slave” class? Scripturally, they could not do so.
Not just because they are not anointed heirs of God and joint heirs with Jesus Christ, but because
the governing body of the “slave” class is not appointed by any man.
It is appointed by the same one who appointed the twelve apostles in the
first century C.E., Jesus Christ the Head of the true Christian congregation and
the Lord and Master of the “faithful and discreet slave” class.—John 15:16, 19.
and this one:
*** w71 12/15 761 A Governing Body as Different from a Legal Corporation ***
They aided in the feeding and directing of the slave class, and thus a governing body made its appearance. This was evidently under the guidance of Jehovah’s invisible active force or holy spirit.
Also, under the direction of the Head of the Christian congregation, Jesus Christ the Son of God. True, the members of that governing body were not directly appointed by the Lord Jesus Christ.

Hello Somebody,
although you mention leaving, I wish to
express myself more about the "beginning " of the process,
when as you wrote one begins "to undertsnad the TRUTH about
the TRUTH". To keep it simple I do believe that you should -
and I do - take a firm position concerning all things which
for a start DO NOT HAVE A SURE BIBLE PROOF, STATEMENT etc.
Then gently but firmly- again- you let it be known very
clearly that you investigate, you DO MAKE deep research in
the BIBLE and CONSIDER THE BIBLE as you stone of compari-
son. Not necessarily enter into strong debates, which can
arouse anger, irritation, but one of the sure way to make you
marriage mate understand it is to explain certain positions,
included doctrinal points in a mature way, ALWAYS backing
your statement when there is a need with PROOF, so the
EVIDENCE will or at least should prove the point.
In conclusion it a long process for some,
you never know how it will end, but I always
keep into my mind and inside my heart that
JEHOVAH and JESUS will never disappoint
me, nor you nor anyone else who has put faith in them.
(Romans 10:11)
Sorry if the few lines...do disappoint you.
(I do mean it.)

Hello,I'm here again with this one...
really a "beauty".
***w99 6/1 16-17 Be Obedient and Be Submissive.
When we receive a gift, it is only fitting to express appreciation. "Show yourselves thankful," says Colossians 3:15.
What, then, about the "gifts in men," the precious gift that Jehovah has given us? Of course, we are primarily thankful to Jehovah, the generous Gift-Giver. But what about the "gifts in men" themselves?
How can we show that we appreciate them? We can demonstrate our appreciation for the "gifts in men" by being quick to heed their Bible-based counsel and decisions.
The Bible advises us: "Be obedient to those who are taking the lead among you and be submissive, for they are keeping watch over your souls as those who will render an account; that they may do this with joy and not with sighing, for this would be damaging to you." (Hebrews 13:17)
Notice that we must not only "be obedient" but also "be submissive" to those taking the lead.
The Greek word for "be submissive" literally means "be you yielding under."
Commenting on the expressions "be obedient" and "be submissive,"
Bible scholar R. C. H. Lenski says: "One obeys when one agrees with what he is told to do, is persuaded of its correctness and profitableness; one yields. . . when he has a contrary opinion."
When we understand and agree with the direction of those taking the lead, obedience may come readily
But what if we do not understand the reason behind a particular decision? –
and this:
*** w56 6/1 346 Keep Pace by Conforming to Theocratic Requirements ***
11 Since the “faithful and discreet slave” has been entrusted with all the Master’s goods, then let
us view with proper mental perception that whatever the ‘faithful slave’ does is for our good.
The slave is thereby fulfilling its own obligation before Jehovah in getting His work done.
Therefore the slave’s will is Jehovah’s will. Rebellion against the slave is rebellion against God.
A proper mental attitude toward the slave’s direction is a part of keeping pace with the New World society.
