  What should the WTBS do?!?!

  well guys sorry i haven't participated much lately, i've been really busy.

  but, i do have a question that i would really appreciate all of your input on.. it is no secret that young people are leaving jws faster and faster.

  it is no secret that most jws are disappointed, and hurt by lack of prophecy fulfillment.. so here's what i was thinking: i'm going to post some very personal thoughts on what *i* think they need to do in order to stop the loss of almost 50,000 disfellowshipped and probably 4x that to inactivity.

  as of 6:02 pm last night i received a facsimile from paul hoeffel at the un on the wts.. he gave me 3 of the 4 things i requested in two paragraphs.. i have sent a scanned version to steve bates and someone else.. i sent it to kent and randy.

  and kent and randy have posted the official united nations letter on their web sites.. here is the letter - put your cursor on the image and then right click on your mouse and hit "save image" to your computer.. .

  after you look at kent's web site and you people still think this it is a fake letter, phone paul hoeffel yourself at (212) 963-8070.. hawk

  thanks again for the documents and for

  the scanning. And on top I'm going to thank personally,

  again, Mr. Stephen Bates of the Guardian, for his excellent

  logical and factual letter to "Paul Gillies"!!

  I'll comment more later, but this it's REALLY a great

  thing. Imagine it all started at the END of AUGUST and

  look what came OUT of IT !! I've already made a small

  booklet of the first THREAD - 20 pages on the screen -

  but it meant about 400 pages printed with all the links,

  the post, the scanning and the comments!!!

  I do agree with Outanfree comment:

  "..Rubbing my hands together in absolute GLEE

  this morning! THIS is fabulous!

  Cannot possibly be refuted.

  Needs to be sent to the branches and any and

  all Bethelites that board members know personally!

  Gotten into the hands of JW publishers locally!

  Btw, I've read that already they have posted

  all the MATTER, in many European countries

  i.e. France, Italy, England, Germany, Portugal

  uk jw's who wish to limit the involvement of the wtb&ts in their personal lives should be aware that on tuesday 23rd october the provisions of the data protection act empower you to obtain copies of all information your local congregation is holding on you, this now includes written data as well as electronically stored information.

  you may also make request to the uk branch office in mill hill.. the request needs to be made in writing to your local congregation 'data controller'.
