I'm really sorry I couldn't be with you this weekend. I was out of town in the frozen South Island of NZ. Just got back to the warmer temps of Auckland.

we prayed and prayed to jehovah in jesus' name: the "ask anything in my name" jesus.
we asked jehovah, not to cure her miraculously, because that's what people pray for in tent revival meetings.

My suggestion to you is to do whatever you must to ease your heart. There are many ways to heal, and this is just one of them. Good luck on your journey.
I totally agree with Wendy's comment above. Do whatever you feel is right to cope with your feelings of hurt an loss. Do not worry about what the JW's think. If Buddhist teachings/practices work for you then go for it. Neither the JW's nor their imaginary God care about you.
You will find lots of caring people here on this board, use us if you wish, we will do our best to help you cope.

I want to reply now. I don't want to wait. Here is my opinion.
God does not exist.
Angels do not exist.
Jesus was a wise man who gave some good advise, but no more than may other wise men & women who have lived before & since. He was not in any way divine. He was a human who died like all humans do.
The holy spirit is fiction.
The burning bush is fiction.
The bible is a human book that contains some factual history, a lot of embellished history, some wisdom (from Jesus and others), and a lot of fiction.

by sOOner indinosaurs have always fasinated me.when i was a member of jw's they could never explain anything about there existence to me.i have never seen mention of them in the bible.history and fossil remains prove that they did exist.what destroyed them really?was it the flood?

When have JW's ever said the earth is only 6-7K yrs old? They have alway said MANKIND is only that old (load of crap of course) but they have in the past claimed that the EARTH was somewhere in the vicinity of 40-50K years old (7 creative days x 7,000 yrs each, also a load of crap).
The YEC reasoning is "dodgy science made to sound good." A pitiful attempt to put scientific face on a mythical religious fable - Creation.
