  Is the organization actually gaining more members or losing more?

  last time i was at the kingdom hall they were praising themselves about all the growth in members they have been having.

  is this "growth" they are having statistically accurate?or are a lot leaving?

  hello everybody, i was wondering if anyone has been guilted or emotionally blackmailed into attending the memorial this year.

  something along the lines of "if you loved your family you would at least attend the memorial".

  i myself haven't attended in 5 years.

  Thanks for the replies guys. Now, just to clear things up, I have absolutely no intention or interest in attending the Memorial. I was just wondering if someone else did.

My mother used to pressure me to do so in the past but she doesn't anymore. Will you be attending this year just tk to please family / ftiends?

  just to share a little about me:.

  i was recently appointed an elder, about 6 months ago now, and that is exactly two years after my awakenning, but funny that the appointment came also about 2 years after i had completely lost all faith in god and had been leading a full time anti-jw life .

  makes you wonder the role of the holy spirit in the entire nomination or appointment process.. .

  Pre-cleaning the district convention venue

  this year as with every previous year a letter was read on how we can honor jehovah by helping to clean the stadium where the district convention is held.. does the watchtower get a break on the rent if the dubs do a major cleaning of the stadium?
