  i believe that "lonewolf" and "ohhappyday" have both previously sent "letters to the editor" using their true identities (as is necessary to get such printed).. .

  after much hard work a certain person has finally got the story published through a letter to the editor in the san bernardino sun.

  you will find the article in the november 28, 2001 edition of the newspaper in the "opinion" section.

  note the voice of the people section.

  Milton Henschel and the UN helicopter trip

  some weeks ago, someone on this board alleged that milton henschel took profit of the un by using their helicopter.

  as you can imagine this is a serious accusation which need to be founded on proof.

  therefore, i would like to know what are your sources?

  Your HORSESHIT about Henschel carrying some sort of UN "visa, pass, passport, etc." (as your verbiage changes from post to post)
  is FAR from being "sacred".

  There are about 1,000 exJWs getting Free Christians Newsletters directly sent to them. Nor am I the only person on this board who enjoys the material and who is happy this story was first brought out by Troy Brown and the staff.

  You are worse than the WTS in presenting "numbers" to the public, in that you consider every one on your spamlist to be a JahChristian. At least the WTS counts non-JWs who attend the Memorial.

  Who haven't missed a beat to punch at me since I pointed out the degree to which Judah K Schroeder (son of Albert Schroeder of the Governing Body) involved the WTS in politics.

  Everytime you do so you simply give me the opportunity to repeat it, compounding your anguish. Logic is better than emotional profanity.

  WRONG AGAIN, as usual.

  First, you give yourself too much credit. I don't even recall exactly what it was you were accusing JBS of?

  Second, it wasn't me who disputed whatever it was you were farting. My recollection was that Maximus, E.H., and possibly some others in that circle who disputed your assertions. I only stirred the mess.

  I assumed the wife of the 'devout Muslim' terrorist, was also Muslim. Men like those, are going to be similar to Taliban men, and rule their wives with an iron fist, so to speak.

  
  If you slowly re-read the "tale", you will see that the female at the door claimed to be the terrorist's sister, not wife.

  Even if considering the "tale" to be true, most people in reading the story would have automatically assumed that this female was lying about her sibling relationship with the terrorist given that this was evidently a terrorist safehouse.

  Coicindentally though I have heard that there is a picture and maybe more than one of Watchtower persons (missionaries? or officials?) boarding UN aircraft. Perhaps you heard a similar rumor? The thing to do would be to talk to former zone and missionary workers to see if they know anything of it.

  The fact that AIDAFRIQUE officials are documented in the French WTS's own website to have flown in UNHCR airplanes has nothing to do with your assertion regarding Henschel.

  Wolf has evidently improved his website, but at the time he first published this "UN Visa" allegation back in 1998, which is based on nothing but unsubstantiated rumor,
  Wolf was known to publish anything remotely negative about the WTS, true or not.

  ...by the way Mad, I am rightly proud that we, Jah Christians in the Free Christians movement, brought the first inklings of this story out a couple years ahead of you. It took long enough:

  CCoJWs Requests/Denied Local Tax Money Allocation

  this city of columbia sc webpage shows that ccofjws requested, but was denied, allocation of local tax dollars from the city's accommodation tax budget allocation.. .

  any locals here that can check out the person that actually formalized this request, and how did ccofjws say they were going to use the $$$ to promote columbia?

  A friend emailed me the following info from their stock of old WT mags:

  It appears from past DC schedules that Carolina Coliseum, in Columbia, has been one of the WTS's regular DC locations, with 3 to 4 weekends per summer. However, in 1999, the Florence Civic Center in Florence SC shared DCs in SC. In 2000, Columbia hosted only the Spanish DC, with Florence getting the 3 biggy DCs. Then, in 2001, both cities split such.

  It appears that the WTS is playing the two locations against each other. This Request/Denial of Columbia tax dollars likely has to do with this scenario. It will be interesting to see how many DCs Columbia hosts this next summer.

  Folks, there must be some good stories here, since this scenario is likely occurring with cities across the U.S.

  "Anewperson" has posted something similar 2 or 3 times previously, except I seem to recall that he "claims" that Henschel flies on UN airplanes due to carrying some sort of special UN pass. "Anewperson" uses some "german" website as his source.

  Naturally, "Anewperson" has failed to produce any evidence of such, just like the Illuminati/Masonry Conspiratists, who shall go nameless, who lack the thinking capacity to differentiate between unsubstantiated accusation and documented facts.

  Thanks EXP for providing the link to your related previous thread. Per your initial post in that thread, the WTS had been obtaining grants from Jacksonville to offset the expense of renting convention facilities. I suspect that something similar is or was going on, or was being tried, with the city of Columbia, SC.

  I also suspect that if one could get their hands on the necessary paperwork, that in at least one of these convention cities there is something improper going on.

  We ALL know of cities that have been historical "homes" for DAs.
  I betting that every one of these are like the Jacksonville scenario, with the City effectively picking up the tab for the facilities.

  Maybe we should do some factfinding sufficient to interest some local reporters in these cities to take the ball and run with it. Surely, the taxpayers of all these cities would like to know that they are subsidizing JW conventions every summer.

  By the way, if anyone wants to inquire what were the specific details about the CCJW's request for funds from Columbia SC, here is the email addie from their website:

  This "story" is being passed JW to JW as "true". I am the one who labeled it as "UL".

  Now, your assumptions put me in the position of defending this JW story.

  Where in this "story" does it say the woman was a "Muslim", much less a "devout" Muslim?

  And even if she were a "devout Muslim", how do you know that her idea of being "devout" is to the extremes to which you witnessed? There are numerous interpretations of Islam, and not all "devout" Muslims follow the same practices.
