Whats the best internet music file sharing thingy....?
by ScoobySnax inhave been using morpheus for a couple of years now, and hasn't been too bad at all, got about 400 tracks download.
since gettiing aol broadband, the diversity seems to have diminished a bit, either i'm on the wrong dsl provider or morpheus isn't as good as it used to be.
the one i was on previous (can't remember the name now) went totally pearshaped after it got served a writ for using copyrighted material.....anyway, know of any other good music file sharing sites?

Daddy long legs..a cruel and unusual punishment
by Brummie inwhen i was a kid we used to catch daddy long legs and throw them into spiders webs on the trees outside...then when the spider had finished of the dllegs we would throw the spider into a bigger spiders web and watch them battle it out....sick huh, i kinda like these things now so couldnt hurt em but any insect that used to come into contact with us had a cruel existence.
anyhow i just heard that the most poisonous insect of all insects is daddy long legs.
just an interesting something that i thought i would share before i go a swatting .

Brum...... Kids at my secondary school would do this in the summer, and I would always be behind them pulling the daddy long legs out of the webs coz I felt sorry for them. I used to get really narked when a particularly 'orrible group of boys would catch them and then pull their legs off one by one, these ones used to say "Look at JO-VO boy go" that was until a good mate of mine smacked the ring leader square in his head..... funny didn't seem to get much stick after that. Of course violence is NEVER the answer..... LOL lol.

by ScoobySnax inin response to a previous post of mine about internet file sharing, a poster by the name of brad (anti-absolutist or something) told me that he's not suprised i "steal music files" as from my my previous posts he felt i'd been trying to steal the spirit out of this forum for a while now, and that he despised me more than jws, as my form of reasoning, he felt, was even more shallow than theirs.
admittedly i disagree with alot of posters here and will at times post pro jw posts as i see fit from my perspective.
some here choose not to answer any of my posts, some will and will mainly say i'm mis-informed to some extent, which is fine by me as that is what an open forum is about.

But to tell me I've been trying to steal the spirit out of everyone and then lump me in with a crook seems a bit harsh to me. Am I right for feeling a bit put out, or should I shut up and realise that here is to agree and not disagree?

Well thats not very nice is it Brad..... how exactly do I "steal energy" from people on this site? Is it because I don't agree with everyone here? Thats not a bad thing you know, after all its what the majority of posters say they most hated about the WBTS, that of having to agree with everything that was said. I don't know you and by the tone of your post,and on first glance, probably wouldn't want to either, but I might be wrong. "I am not suprised that he steals music too"

GOING TO A KH FUNERAL NEXT WEEK
by be wise init will be the first time i've entered a kh in about 4 or 5 years.
the woman who died was very old.
i hadn't seen her in a very long time, we weren't close but i remember her being really nice to us as kids.

Be Wise...... the others at the Kingdom Hall will be there for the same reasons, to pay there respects to someone who you said was a lovely old lady who was kind. Maybe you'll feel a bit out of place like I did at a catholic funeral a couple of weeks back, but just remember its the person whos died that you're there for, not the service. Hope it goes well anyway.
