i have read many posts old and new and can't help but wonder why many of you just don't let it go?

BigTex......Thanks for your understanding. I'm sure you've been through many feelings. I fail to understand why you're concerned when I appear "gleeful" about any pro-JW posts that are submitted, like me you must admit they are few and far between here. I suppose in my heart of hearts something in me still clicks with such posts, much like something clicks with the majority of people here when posts that are un-favourable and disparging of the JWs here are aired, its a 2 way thing I think. I don't think on an open forum, I have anything to prove or disprove, I think as an open forum I can say what I think, if that means not getting into doctrinal disputes with ex-jws or not standing around deleriously clapping anyone about attending the memorial with the aim to disrupt it, and in the same breath getting damned for it, then I'm happy. But you are right about one thing, no I won't engage anyone here on a doctrinal or GB issue, most have made their mind up, I won't try to convince them otherwise, and I say good luck to them and their chosen path. I will still however keep an open mind here on this board, and for the mean time, I will post on this board when I feel I want to, and say just what I want..... thats a healthy thing, its something you all say is after all.

I only post here coz I love u Minimus........controversy for controversies sake excluded....thats why I post here. You know I'm getting paranoid here that I'm starting to bother you, surely you wouldn't like me to feel that way, I'm sure in the back of your questioning mind you like me being here. ain't that the truth?!!

I can't believe they read this out on Radio 4 !
by Simon infor those that don't know, radio 4 is ye-olde bbc radio channel - lots of talking, no music.
serious debate and topics (it's not unusual for the morning 'breakfast show' to be about quantum mechanics or suchlike).
they have some great comedy shows too and a lot of hit tv shows have their roots here.. late afternoon, during the evening commute, they have the 'pm' programme where they discuss current affairs and read out feedback.. the previous day there was a news story about france or germany where they have come up with the idea of having dog number-plates so that any owners who's dogs who fouled public areas could be fined.. two imaginitive suggestions they received were read out:.

I only realised a couple of months back I must be getting old at 32 years old when I found I actually knew more of the stuff they were playing on Radio2 than I did on Radio1.....it was an eye-opener. BTW Simon, if you really are going to write into POV, remember firstly that before you start "Dear Barry Took"......he is dead. Address your letter to Phillip Schofield of the dyed hair sort,and in your post about numberplates and dogs doings, can you ask for me why(as sort of a p.s) there are no carparking spaces on Corrie (where do they park their cars?) and why no-one has a washing machine in Albert Square.......its been getting to me lately. and I need answers here.

JT.... I think out of all said, you are right......this forum needs me, it sort of helps it not stagnate don't you think? (tongue in cheek). At least I keep it lively at otherwise slack times, you can always rely on me to not agree with the masses here who hold that oh so back slapping anti jw mentality. LOL. Someone said as an inactive JW I'm not worth the dirt on some other active JW males shoe......this made me laugh the most.... thats certainly not what I've experienced whilst attending the occasional meeting or assembly, or are they all out to conspire an act of friendliness to me? Have I really been so blind??! I admit, at times its a bit like being in a no-mans-land, neither in or out as was said too, but like alot of you, all the time I have a brain that functions, I'll continue to search that which I see right....

My ex-student's letter of disassociation
by Titanic inhere is the letter of disassociation of one who was "my best" student when serving the borg.
we studied together for more than 2 years.
she got baptized and was doing pioneering hours slaving the borg.since my disassociation she has been scrutinizing the borg and she has been out for a while.now she is keen to disassociate herself from this cult.. so, here is her letter, and i hope that it can serve as an example for those who think about doing the same.. 1 march 2003. .
