Who really, I mean REALLY made/makes you laugh....
by ScoobySnax ini was watching some old videos tonight and stumbled across some british greats, like dick emery (ooooh you are awful....but i like you...) fawlty towers, les dawson, kenny everett etc.
i got a glimpse of larry grayson, camp as ever on the generation game.
all of these artists were funny to me, and have me in stitches just watching them again even though (john cleese excluded) they have now departed from this mortal coil, much like the carry on crowd, i seem to enjoy past humour much more than the present stuff on offer.

Fawlty Towers, Les Dawson, Kenny Everett etc. I got a glimpse of Larry Grayson, camp as ever on the Generation Game. All that old stuff just creases me up. I think I'll have to save my last favourite here www.theblackcap.com/ReginaFong.htm To go up to London since 1992 like I did and watch this act live was the funniest of all, ok not everyones cup of tea, but I've never laughed so hard until my stomach ached. Another great gone.
So come on, which artist(s) made you laughed till it hurt>>>>??? !!!!

What will happen to humankind? (serious)
by ScoobySnax ini want to ask a deep question here, only because i want to know your answer..... i was listening to my mum and dad tonight watching a programme on the discovery channel about how in so many million years the sun will implode or explode and destroy all life in our solar system and beyond.
my dad was fascinated and was arguing with my mum who said it's rubbish because that isn't jehovah's purpose for the earth.
later i was thinking.

Check out this months VIZ
by yxl1 ina new cartoon character has been created by those clever guys at viz.
"jimbo jumbo's robo jobos" is a story about jimbo, whose grandfather, an eccentric inventor has built him an army of miniature robot radio controlled jehovahs witnesses.. this week they manage to stop a blood transfusion van from taking blood back to the hospital.
next month jimbo and his jehovah-bots foil a farmers evil plan to deliver a christmas tree to the local orphanage.. if anyone has a scanner, this comic strip is well worth posting.

SS.... Why turn this into a typical JW ridicule thread? Death and the fear of it isn't a "residual" WT thing or slogan, to the majority it remains repelant and un-natural. Why the grief from anyone who has lost someone they love? "some people are look forward to death" yes some do, I've seen them, so eaten up with cancer and with no hope, high on diamorphine, that they welcome a release. You see their fight stop, and acceptance come over them. Notice the words "they stop fighting" Why are they fighting SS? I've yet to see anyone think of themselves as a mere "animal" when they have had a cancer or terminal illness look them in the face, and for a fortunate few a lucky escape. Don't talk crap as to ask why are "dubs" scared of it. Everyone is. Death is un-natural, and repellant.
