JW Broadband???
by Gladring inthe congregation my parents belong to (they live in ireland) has been having a massive refurbishment recently.
apparently the congregation wanted to spend about 20k euro, but the society pushed for spending 100k euro "so that they won't have to do it again in 10 years time".. .
anyway, my dad was talking about changing his broadband provider, and he mentioned that he was going to wait, because some brothers came to his house with an aerial and they can receive the kingdom hall's new broadband.

Well he did.Say that if he got it "from the brothers" it would only cost him 10 Euro a month.
Plot twist, Looks like the KH is selling access to the broadband that other people are paying for....

"Active Topics" button opens a wml file
by rebel8 inwhen i press the "active topics" button this morning, it tries to open a .wml file instead of taking me to active topics.. oh, the humanity!.

Not sure why it would happen but wml file is just the mobile version of the web page for your phone or tablet.

I thought the book studies were, at least in part, a way to prepare for the great tribulation. Which makes it interesting how that picture is very reminiscent of a book study sized meeting.

I'm starting to think there is something to the stuff that Vanderhoven is talking about.
I don't think it has anything to do with being good or pleasing god but instead it is about faith.
Faith is knowing something is going to happen. Like when you walk down the street you don't ever give a second thought that your foot will land on the ground in front of you.
When I order something online I don't go back the next day and order it again. Instead I might excitedly go to my mailbox to see if it is there yet.
Instead of praying for the the things I don’t have I give thanks for what I do have and expect that any desire I have will be fulfilled.
One of the oddest things that happened to me was one day a woman told me to say something nice about her. I made a nice but semi wisecrack comment. She said hmm well thats a little nice so I wish you a little good luck. Over the next 2 days I found $100 and got half price on an expensive cab ride. ( I really wish I had said something really nice)
