  BrotherX reveals Purpose of Door-to-Door Ministry

  let's call him "brotherx" - an elder who either has heard from the circuit overseer "by word of mouth" or has come to the conclusion himself about why jehovah's witnesses are determined to reach every person on the planet with .

  "the message of hope.

  " i'll try to paraphrase some of his comments.. brotherx explained to me and others in the congregation that we "work our territories to essentially decide who lives and dies at armageddon.

  I am certain that your reply is correct. Acts of kindness is something we, I should be working on more.

  Dubs have taken the Bible and twisted it, like all of religion for their own benefit? To instill loyalty and p ropagate there literature and beliefs. And to keep you so busy that you can't find out that you are being told things that are suspect.

  I have done several searches and I can't find a reference to doors or houses and that they did this specific type of activity?

  Can anyone straighten this out??

  it obviously wasnt a test because god already knew the outcome!.

  Were is your blind faith? Without this blind faith much of the bible is unexplainable.....??

  God exists but not in the context most humans try to make/mold him into......

  God made Earth and now he is waiting for man to screw it up, he will in his time straighten it all out.......but don't get out your calculator and try to figure out when, or if he is Jesus, or if he is at the Kingdom Hall.

  Much religion is set to drive man to the control of a few.....POWER....

  What org rules were stupid to you?

  when i was in the truth i thought that the most ludicrous and petty ruling they ever introduced and still practiced is that congregation book study conductors were and are responsible for collecting every group members report.

  surely every member ought to be responsible for his/her own actions.

  at the beginning of the following month and certainly before the 5th i would always receive the stupid telephone call from the secretary are you aware that 3 publishers havent reported?

  Stupid rules....

  Once before a the Ministry School and Service Meeting I asked for a Kingdom Ministry.

  My family and I had started back in service and were trying a real comeback. We had only been in service for four months and I wanted my family to have a copy to keep up with the meeting etc. I had been borrowing one, I then found out why I had been borrowing them. The elder informed me that I and my family would have to be regular publishers before I could obtain them officially.

  To be considered a regular publishers have to report for a six month concurretn time period for you non-JW's.....the Kingdom Ministry is a four to six page paper distributed by the org to schedule meetings and much of the meeting content is in there also....

  I was set back quite a bit by this.....I don't think I was as regular after that?????

  So you doubt my time line! Stay with me now? My parents learned the truth when I was only six months old 1945. You count them, unless you don't count the years as association that I was only four, five, and six, years old. And the discussions to try to convert my school mates while I was in what they now call middle school? Not babtized, but working, involved, associated?????

  Four - Mom walked in service everyday, had many bible studies.....I remember the hot afternoons. Sitting still for at least an hour and then walk, walk, walk, again.

  Five - Talks in TMS, brothers had to put a small stand under my feet so that my face could be seen by the dubs. Much of my life was dedicated to being involved, my Dad was for the most part the only elder, brother, or qualified to serve male in the congregation so we would go and pick up most of the congregation and then have the study and then take most of them home, because many didn't have cars.

  Six - Service and after school meetings etc. - Circuit assemblies into the night and district assemblies in the hot sun that lasted until 9:00 PM.

  I understand that you have issues and I also have them.

  The fact that we neither of us want to indentify ourselves speaks volumes for the way we feel. The fear of being an outcast etc.

  I don't think anyone will argue that there are good people everywhere?

  we don't know what jesus was doing during the period of 1914-1919. contrary to the wt doctrine an elder during tonights bookstudy for no apparent reason made this statement after the last paragraph for tonights book study was commented on .most unusuall don't you think?

  NOT REALLY TOO INVOLVED....

  Given the world situation, It doesn't look like Jesus, has had a hands on active role for many years......

  The US is not backed by Jesus? Just World dominance alone, doesn't mean GOD is approving? Just the biggest guns!!!

  He isn't watching WALL STREET? He isn't watching my investments for certain?

  Jesus is overlooking the KIDS? The children seem to be coming up missing more? Or is that because the news casters are becoming more watchful or probably selling more stuff?

  All religions are full of themselves, they are more concerned with what they precieve as church and organization than what is really going on? It is about POWER and who gets what and why you should follow these rules that we have established.....

  Where is all that money anyway ????

  YIKES.....wake up.....see the....whole picture....don't get too involved with any of it.....
