We were not permitted to watch "The Love Boat" as there was to much kissing and it was not appropriate!

hmmmm.
yes... but would jesus have an "i love me" bumper sticker?.
from the boston channel.... group asks 'what would jesus drive?'.
this is indeed my question?
who owns the watchtower bible & tract society?.
i have no knowledge about legal corporations and such, but someone must own this corporation.
Fulano, aren't there at least two voting members who are not Jehovah's Witnesses?
Not that I know of.
Thanks

There are 500 members, from all over the world who can vote every year. Most are members of the branches world-wide. I know a few names.
i've seen this topic debated/mentioned on other threads.
but i'm wondering if i'll get any jw apologists on this one.
question 1: .
Pierce, new member of the GB has raised a family of 5 kids, and did secular work to maitain them.
The latest member is black.
why is life so complicated at times?
i thought i had it all sorted out...friends, kissing friends, non friends, etc.
people should stick with the label i give them damnit.. .
Just kiss everyone, that's easy!

Haha, I can imagine that, were they "Zeeuws" gereformeerd or something??
I had to wear tweed trousers or pants, even to go to school!!! I don't know why even still visit them, my mother is still a witness, my father stopped, just like my brother, and my sister got disfellowshipped and reinstated agian.
if the local congregations have no money to pay their own bills and the numbers of witnesses continue to drop off, how will the society last?
we've heard about down sizing and layoffs.
we've seen congregations merge because the bills aren't getting paid.
If they just would be more carefull in building.
In Africa they just forgot a 800.000 dollar equipment and found out a year later.
The DR branch took five years to be build which cost the brothers a 30.000 dollar a day.
If they would sell the 34 objects they have in Brooklyn, can you imagine!!! And it is all paid for.
