Well Zappa move over to their paradise, would love to meet you after a month without cel-phone, internet, iPad, normal clothes and electricity to watch your plasma.
Beatiful dreams.....for a adolescent.
so i know one should remove his own stick from his own eye before ones self judges another, but i noticed something.
it seems that the wealthy witnesses are the elders, the circuit overseers, the governing body... are they really different from any other 'worldly' religions or even organizations?
i mean look at the jewels the friggen pope wears.

So your point is are they different? No, although you can't compare the lifestyle from the GB with the pope. There are a lot of ignorant comments on this site about the GB members. The thing is, power changes people.
the reason i ask this is because we heard reports that greenlees was kicked out of bethel because he was one and then we heard reports that another one, jaracz i believe was one all though it sounds kind of iffy to me.. 2 out of i don't how many total gb seems kind of high so i'm thinking that perhaps the percentage is quite higher as this would explain to a degree why the gb have written in clauses to keep the organization from reporting them to authorities.. it is true that part of the reason they remain silent to authorities is because of the reproach it brings to their precious corporation but i think that is only a small part of the reason and perhaps there might be a bigger reason maybe quite a few have been over powered by their darker side and have engaged in this behavior but because of denial and delusion they will not confess and willingly encourage cover ups.. just speculation i know but i'm starting to think that there is a very dark side to all of these guys hidden by their persona(jungian) that is making them stoop so low as to implement these very bad policies..
What a sad and silly topic.
i know i will get a lot of backslash on this forum for saying this, but as it looks like, i won't ever be able to escape the jws.
i have been a born in, third generation jw and awoken in one way or another (i joined this forum 15 years ago) for a very long time.
but i have adapted to the jw lifestyle to a point where it does not bother me anymore.
Sad, that's the only thing that came up.
i always found it interesting that one could appeal a disfellowshipping....if jehovah doesn't make mistakes, then there wouldnt be a need to "appeal" anything to begin with right?.
@sir82 and Village idiot. ....you are wrong in this case, I have been for many years on AC's and many of the cases the dfs were rejected. Makes sense because you must be pretty convinced to be treated wrong before you take the step to appeal.
hazel grove congregation in stockport, cheshire, u.k.. not only is the congregation saturated with elders, it is/was pretty well saturated with cash - according to its 2014 financial statement to the charities commission.

its elders are listed as frank broadhurst, nick ashton, nigel bailey, noel crossley, peter davies.
Brooklyn Heights. 300+ publisher and 30+ elders. You could hardly read the Watchtower on sundays.
i realize that the anointed class inherits heaven while the great crowd inherits a renewed planet earth, but how and when are the anointed chosen?
are these people born with spirits or do they grow them as they live?
when they die, they don't sleep but go right to heaven, right?
When they commit a serious sin they get reproved or dfd, in that case there are only 143999. When that person is replaced by another anointed and the dfd returns to the organisation there are 144001. Funny he?
or do they stay at hotels?
do most jws know who's on the governing body?
if one just showed up at church would he be immediately recognized?
How many times are topics like this one being opened, with the same BS of people who even havent met a member of the GB. Ridiculous.
if you were part of a judicial committee, and knowing what you know now, what was it like for you to sit on jc’s?
how did you feel if someone was reproved or df’d?
were you ever on a jc and you disagreed with someone being reproved or df’d and were overruled – how did you feel?
I have been on maybe more than a hundred jc's as a missionary in a country with many problems, also on appeal committees for years.
I didnt give a sh#t df someone when we were really convinced that that was the right decision.
The only moment I was really upset when we should have df a missionary sister but were told by the BC not to do so because of the name of JW in that town.
jesus drifted amongst the lowly folk .
And why should they have a vis-a-vis?
