I was cleaning my bookshelf earlier this week and got rid of all the WTS magazines. As for the books I haven't decided yet. What about you?

Atheists! Would like your suggestion..
by umadevi inhi friends, i have been reading threads on atheism and how they see life from their point of view.
i must admit some of the points that you (atheists) put forth have given me something to think about.
i still have faith in god but let's say if i would like to do a research on atheism, where should i start?

I am starting with God is Delusion by Richard Dawkins. I have never considered atheism as an option as I live in a moderate muslim country where everyone is religious. In fact only here in JWN I have had the opportunity to read threads on atheism. I must admit I find the concept of atheism interesting. Thank you again for all your suggestions. I managed to find all the books and links so I guess it's going to be a very interesting experience for me.

I made it!! I'm just so freaking happy!!!
by Rocky_Girl inas some of you know, i started college 5 years ago for the first time at age 27. i had been out of the "truth" for 9 years at that time, but had just broken free of the mentality.
well, on saturday i walked across the stage with the 130th graduating class at rocky mountain college!.
after 5 years of working several jobs, taking care of two little boys as a single mom, and trying to get the most out of my college experience, i earned my master of accountancy, bachelor of science in business management, and minors in writing and organizational leadership.

What was the best thing the WT did [for you]?
by fadinfast in.
for me it was putting in the fm at the assemblies, now i could listen to interesting things like the cricket, footy, fishing, news, even music [if i kept the volume down] without looking suspicious, instead of all that..... sure you know the story.

Introduction / My story
by theBGB inhello all, i've just discovered this site and i cant begin to describe how happy i am to have come across it.
i stumbled across this site purely by accident...seriously i was looking at arkham city walkthoughs and a few jumps later i end up here.
i though it was a legit society page at first and thought 'what the hell, this will be good for a laugh', but after reading a few posts well...i couldnt stop reading.

welcome brotherprince! When I first realized the truth about the 'truth' I too felt lost. My humble suggestion is that read some books on cult mind control and take time to enjoy your freedom. If you still feel that you need to get attached to an org or religion, then do a thorough research. I have discovered that all religions have a certain control over the members.
