i just remembered this the other day and i had to share .... we were watching the brad pitt movie 'benjamin button' with some friends.

it's the story of a man who ages backwards.

while we were watching it, my friend made the comment "wow, that is what's going to happen to us in the new system".

(i know, i know, "who's gregor and who cares?).

anyway, i thought that just about everyone knew by now that i am gregor.

the name change was not because of public reproof or disfellowshipping.

It was obvious both were the same person. The rapier wit was the same. I approve the new name, and it's namesake. All my life, even as a boy, I have dreamt of sailing away from the bullshit on such a vessel forever and ever.

Are You The Type Of Person That Really "Loves" People On This Site?

i know some here seem to truly be interested in everyone's welfare.

they seem to be really troubled/happy by another poster's health, life, children, job, sex life, worries, anxieties---you name it, they're very involved in "caring" about people that they hardly know.. i have forged some friendships, i've met some great people on this site.

i've communicated with many nice people here.

on facebook tonight there was a post asking to take a personality test, in posting the personality tests a trend started emerging that certain personality types seem to leave around the same time.. i came out as an intj which is introverted intuitive thinking judging.

Wow, the Pentagon has really cool toys!

That video is nonsense. He says there was a mysterious ball that flew into the 2nd tower from a low resolution video. Yet many people saw a plane fly into the 2nd tower, and millions more saw it live on TV.

Because they work. I got radiation therapy and surgery too. A lot of the chemo drugs out there now aren't the same ones that we were using decades ago either.

I don't necessarily think that the pharmaceutical industry wants people to die, but they sure as hell don't want a cheap, easy cure for cancer anymore than the oil companies want a cheap material to make a car run.

You speak of the pharma industry as one huge single thing. It is not. There are lots of people working there that want to heal the world, and are pouring everything they have of themselves to do it.

Cancer is a very tough nut to crack. We are getting there in stages.
