here's where were going, its a portuguese territory a few hundred miles off the coast of west africa:.
tomorrow morning we head for cardiff airport, it's a slight worry as the severn bridge is closed today because of high winds, if it stays closed we have an extra 100 miles to drive around via the m50.. see ya in about a week!.
Oh, it's a very nice place, but I was expecting a picture of some fit Maderian totty!
And English cake?! Really! Doesn't anyone want to accept responsibility for it? It's not that bad!

As far as the John 8 scripture is concerned. Does anyone seriously think that those Pharisees would go away humbly after Jesus said that, and go "Hmm, fair point Jesus!". No, if it really happened, those haughty men would be lobbing the stones at the poor lady before Jesus had even finished his sentence!
geesh, there aren't that many dubbies in my corner of the world, so humour me!.
on saturday morning i went to the shopping center down the road from my flat to make a quick telephone call at our local, heavily-overused payphone (no landline at my place).
anyway, as i was leaving the gate, guess what yours truly sees?.
Ah, the pioneer shuffle is such a giveaway isn't it? If they walked any slower they'd be going backwards! As well as the clothes and the behaviour, the style of dubbie bags are also a big giveaway. I love spotting (currently fellow) dubbies when I'm driving around or on holiday. Somebody should print a little book with the different types of suits and sensible dresses along with tick boxes. Well, nutty people do it with trains and airplanes, so why can't dubbie-spotting be a recognised leisure pursuit?
I also know about sweaty suit syndrome! If you do anything like the sound, attendant, mic handling, platform duties, you have to keep your jacket on, no matter how stifling the hall is, with predictable results.

here in the great sunburnt country it's time to put the feet up and relax with a good cuppa, whilst i guess the north american posters and lurkers are still raging on saturday eve.

2. Kept a record in my diary.
Well, this is good timing for me to be asked this question, because this is the first month in ages and ages I haven't been out on the ministry. Even while I've been here posting all the anti-WT stuff, I've still been averaging around 8 or 9 a month hypocritically trying to convert people - you don't know what guilt is until you do this! Well, because I was away at the beginning of the month, and then I was ill afterward for a week or so, I've now managed to worm my way out of it this month, and I haven't been out this week either.
Am I gonna put in a report for October though? I don't know. I haven't lied about my ministry up to now, but to be honest, fibbing on your report has given many here a bit of welcome breathing space. Maybe I'll just leave it and see what happens.
i don't know about you, but i get a fair amount of emails.
unless i recognize the name or email address, or unless there is a reference to jwd (at least until i learn to recognize the sender) i delete them.
there are just too many viruses out in la la land, and although i did "take a chance" in the past and open a couple, if it has an attachment, i won't open it.
Ballistic is spot on. You can open an email with an attachment with no ill effect, even if the attached file has a virus. As a n email is just a text file it can't do your computer any harm. Even a HTML email is ok, just make sure you always have script switched off in your email program. Outlook should be set on "Restricted Sites" on all incoming HTML emails.
Anyway, open the email, just don't open the attachment.

in the us, the term void is used in the health care industry as another word for.... well doing a number one, or taking a pee.
there is also a term, "void where prohibited".... usually in reference to some sale, or offer.. so...... "void where prohibited" = "pee where you please".
