I was just told .....
by FollowedMyHeart innot to go to my sister's high school graduation.
it's for home-schooled kids and will be at the la quinta.
so there aren't going to be many people there.

Assembly this weekend, but also the Rapture...
by CaptainSchmideo incan i not go, and then hide for six months.
will my friends believe i got taken on saturday?.
if it really does happen, how embarrassed will the attendees be when they walk outside and find out that everyone else is gone, but they got left behind (and had to listen to a really boring talk on being encouraged to pioneer while all the excitement was going on outside?).

All of my grandfather's grandchildren have had similar dreams all on the same night. We freaked when we told each other what had happened. They all had the same setting (on my grandfather's porch with him in the rocking chair and the dreamer in the swing). Each one of us had the feeling that it was real and all had the same similar conversation.
I had one of my grandfather a few months ago where I rounded the corner in my house and he was standing there with his arms open. I ran into them and he kissed me and I said "Grandpa, you're in my dreams again! These are my most favorite kind of dreams!" and then he laughed and had a tear in his eye and said "I know" and then was gone.
Maybe it's all bunk. Maybe it's not. We'll have to wait and see.

I'm completely out. I have been for a while even though I honorably tried to "stay in" so my grandmother would have a relationship with me. I knew that had to stop when I started pointing out stupidities to my hubby during the meetings. I got looks. So I stopped going. And my grandmother has nothing to do with me. Oh, except for the occasional call to tell me God hates me. I tried. I really did. But it's her choice and I feel much better now without the religious monkey on my back than I ever have being berated by her constantly. I'm completely out. I vaguely remember a scripture saying something about losing mothers and brothers and sisters in my name. Something like that. It’s fitting.

I LOVE THAT BOOK!!!
I chose mine because of what an Iconoclast is. If I am to be labeled, I would like to chose my label. Iconoclast better suites me than Apostate or Disfellowshipped or Disassociated. I don't even want the JayDub label. Label me as the rest of history does. I am an Iconoclast. Plan and simple. I think many on this forum are as well.

Could you stand out in the lobby, near the door so you can hear her speech? Or have someone video tape it for you? Or even go set up a camera toward the stage and get it after the ceremony?
