Does anyone use ''fugly''??
Yep! And they call them Transformers in the South when a girl is really hot from far away but is fugly when you see her close up. LOL
bang out of order seems to have made a couple of posters laugh on here, as they had never heard it before.. it's wierd for me because it's a saying i have always heard/used...good old british slang.. it means that what someone has said is hurtful and unacceptable.. some slang terms from where i come from in the ''black country''.. up the wooden hills - go to bed.
put the wood in the hole - shut the door.
chuffed - pleased.

Are you suggesting that when cooking Christmas dinner, we put the sprouts on to boil around mid-October? lol
YES! I steamed sprouts because I love them so much, tried TRIED to get my husband to eat ONE and he gagged. He said he can't get the idea of the slimy texture out of his head, even though I steam mine. LOL! I finally got him to trust me on roasted asparagus. He loves it now, as long as there is crispness to the veggie.
My inlaws boil their veggies and used tinned potatoes!
Must be related to my inlaws! LOL! And there's another word - tinned - it's canned here in the US.

Hahahaha! Thats too funny! The way we talk and have names for things cracks me up and i'm British. People from other countries must think we are crazy. lol
You've got great fish and chips though! Holy bejeebus, am I jealous! But all the other English food is horrid. No offense! I just mean that your boiled dinner have nothing on our Low Country Crab Boils! And my mother in law is from Cambridge. Her food is so tasteless. I had to force my hubby to eat veggies when I married him because he was convinced that the only way you cook veggies is to boil the hell outta them and he woudn't eat em. I've taught him different now :)

Fraggin'- for f*cking
behompus - for ass (it's a Southern thing. I haven't heard that anywhere else)
GeeDee - for Godda**it
Foot - F*ck (another Southern thing)

And not because of his bullocks! Because of his sense of humor! Thought I'd clear that up.

I've found myself absolutely enamoured with you English people! I'm from the South in the US and, although we have colorful language here, you guys are downright fantastic! I was always wondering what Bullocks meant! There's a guy here at work that has that as his license plate on his car. That is too funny! I think I love him :)
I had my husband cracking up at the last assembly we went to on the out. I asked him how far he thought I would get if I bumrushed the stage, screaming "TECH SUPPORT!!! TECH SUPPORT!!!!" I wonder if I would have been tackled by an elder or would it have been a younger, nose-up-someone's-ass, MS.
there was a report on the tv last night about a pakistani christian woman sentenced to death.
for blaspheming the prophet ( mohamed i suppose).. she was working in the fields with two muslims.
it was hot and she had a drink of water.. she offered some to the two muslims but they would not drink from the same cup as a christian.
The law of the land and God’s law through Christ forbid us to kill apostates, even though they be members of our own flesh-and-blood family relationship.
Love this quote. It almost says that, being members of our own flesh and blood, they SHOULD HAVE the right to kill them. Because it's family, you see. You own them and can do what you please. Damn those pesky little police officers and judicial courts!

Very true video. I'm currently trying to get my dad out and have told him this point. He didn't believe me that the GB would teach that until he saw it for himself.
