dr. richard dawkins is finally calling out islam for it's true nature, i hope he is balanced because i don't want him to get killed by these whack jobs.
i enjoy listening to dr. dawkins debate and would like him to attack their false religion like he lambaste's christians, i guess it's a tight-wire act he must follow or they would kill him.

I think the methods employed by the Mujahideen shocked the Soviets badly, raping grown men by young Taliban Warriors (told to do it by their elders)was kind of a "right of passage", Soviet soldiers that were lucky enough to gain their freedom told tales of how other soliders of Communist Afghani and Russian fighers were sexually abused to the point of death.
It's been a long time since I read the book detailing the aftermath of the Soviet's own Vietnam-like experience, the cruel methods of torture screwed the minds of the soldiers to the point of heavy drinking (Not saying much in Russia, alcoholism is very high because of low economic mobility) and suicide. The saying "All's fair in Love and War", nobody can grasp how ugly war is and especially when the opposing armies are not afraid of acting like animals. The Soviets had no business getting involved with the Afghanistan War even though Afghanistan would have been better off under the yokes of the Soviets. The blood bath ensuing the Soviet Withdrawl, Afghanistan went in to total chaos killing off a large portion of their men over sixteen years old, nobody has ever been able to control Afghanistan for any period of time.
The more I read about Afghanistan, the more I wonder why George W. Bush wanted this land so badly, the claimed minerals and riches is a load of crap, how are you going to extract all these minerals when anything can cause the locals to turn on anyone, tribes, war-lords are not in control, it's a Government run by the Taliban with the Kharzai showing it's true colors as a type of Taliban. What a sick place to live, the poor children are treated like shit, it's a real life zoo of animals running around, I pray for the kids!
Why did we go in to Afghanistan again, the poor American and British Soliders who are going to be scarred by the political leaders, what were they thinking?

Lisa Rose, I loved Debra and pondered all the shit she endured after walking in on Dexter killing Doomsday.
Dexter-the-Sociopath sucked Debra dry of her humanity, when he pushed Hannah down her throat by having her move in, that's when I knew Debra's days were numbered. It was like Debra and Quinn were met for each other though it was too late for Debra to regain her relationship Quinn? (Why am I getting mad at a fictious person? I grew to love Debra, Angel and Quinn, even Hannah was not as tweaked as Dexter.)
A twisted movie is "Sangre de Mi Sangre" a good Mexican boy (Hard working, good hearted) is out to find his father in New York, he run's in to a corrupt and con-man teenager along the way.

Why Do Some People Still Disagree With Special Relativity?

Why is the Black-Shoales and Binomial valautions of derivative pricing obsolete? Few Options trade even close to the two pricing models taught in Finance, my complaints go beyond Fischer Black and Myron Shoals methods, even the advanced "Heath-Jarrow-Morton" blows when it come to capturing a Arb, why are these models worthless now? Whether it was the Black-Shoales method that almost blew up the World Economy is a debate, my argument is that none of these pricing models come near the Assets were are trying to profit by. Can you educated me how to create a better pricing model than HJM for profit when Market Centers are too slow to capture the gains we can make once the High Frequency Manipulators of Price begin to dump these assets, none of them still go near Black-Shoales consistently, a smart guy like you can help me better sharpen my game.

Perhaps it might head to $70 after I picked up some June $65 Contracts tomorrow, I don't like paying up heavily but what can I do? I made $1.10 on 100 contracts, if I had followed those time-tested scientific models of valuation, I would have waited forever to get my fills. I discounted heavily the price the CBOE, AMEX and NYSE Market Makers must make and still the price was no place near where pricing models said they should be.
Why do Finance Schools teach the Black Shoales and Binomial Theories when everyday price action proves they are worthless?

Can I ask for clarification, are you talking about a "Pedophile Epidemic" in the Congregation or Society as a whole?
I think it's been worse in the past because people got away with raping their little daughters or nieces and nephews, now with the Culture turning against the Falangs, things are getting better in the West because our World View say's Pedophiles are evil and need a bullet in the head!
The JW Congregations? There are many Pedophiles under the JW Version of "Witness Protection Facility" for the rich and famous Pedophile Elders, the Watchtower still protects these slime bags of human excrement because they are afraid the Pedophiles will sing like a bird and all the "Cover-Ups" will be exposed. i'm not a huge fan but i like some of their songs.
i noticed that the lyrics of their songs exude more emotion and spirituality that bland kingdom melodies.

U2 is awesome, "Sunday Bloody Sunday", "In the Name of Love" and all the rest of Bono's music is awesome. I had a U2 T-Shirt I wore in 1982 (I think), back when they were kids, what a hell of a run U-2 has had, they have the staying power because they are what Music is all about! The entire band pours their heart in to each song, I saw them live in 2002, what a great band!

I scanned the threads, you only answer your own questions which is so JW-LIke, it's selfish, have you thought of becoming a Elder again? They are good at asking questions instead of loving support to individuals like "Confused and alone", you have been here since the begining of JWN, why don't you help these posters here?

How many in the cong visited you when you started fading
by joe134cd ini'm just curious speaking from a person who has stopped going to meetings.
i have heard reports from inactive ones (or from ones who the elders suspect of going to the dark side) of having so many visits from elders (cong members) that it got to the point of harassment.
surprisingly i have to say from personal experience and from numerous others that i have spoken to that the exact opposite has been the case.

I know how bad things are when you began to fade, it's amazing to believe we put our trust in a organization that obviously had no love for anyone, we allowed people to walk out the door and never be seen again by our Elder Body.
Why did we allow our time with "Burned-Out Bob", "Pot Head Pete", "Albert the Wife beating Alcoholic", "Transvestitie Timmy", "Six Hundred Pound Sid", "Debby Downer", "Phil the Pedophile" instead of chasing after faithful members of the congregation who were battling problems at their Homes? We failed as a Organization protecting the Faders, why did we not show more compassion to the sick and infirm, the elderly and poor?
If we all knew the Statistics of JW Children that walked out the door after attending meetings faithfully for 15,16, 19 or 23 years never to return or get checked up on, it would prove we are nothing like the Shepherds Jehovah asked the people of Isreal to be.

Syme:, where do they come up with these fairy tales, I think most are lies. Did we ever explain to you how we created "Experiences" for the Parts on the Assemblies, we lied about our experiences because the Circuit Overseer or District had a Agenda that needed to be filled. Many of the parts were totally embellished, dressed or tailored to look great, most were half-truths!
I left my house to a brother inlaw so I could attend the District Convention, after pumping himself full of drugs he left the animals in the house and I had to drive home from San Diego, Calfiornia. My house was full of dog shit and cat piss, maybe I should have left the animals in my house and enjoyed the Convention, i am sure a Angelic Janitorial services would have cleaned my house and my pets would not have starved to death.
We stopped attending the District Conventions last year after it being a constant battle, the best part of the Conventions were speaking with the Ex-JWs and Christians protesting the Convention, I thought I was really being persecuted by kind, loving and compassionate individuals trying to get us to think! Thank you everyone for protesting at the conventions, there must be a better way to get their attention and not allow them to get off thinking that they are being attacked by Satan's Agents, there has to be a better way.

Don'tCallMeShirley, I enjoy your posts very much, what level of worldy education did you acheive? I can't name all my favorites but everything that comes out of your mouth make's me smile or ponder how stupid I was to be stuck in this Cult so long.
I had a chance to speak to another brother at a Circuit Assembly and he gave me more courage to step down and the wobbling began. The first time I began to have hatred of the Cult was the Circuit Assembly, my fellow Ex-JW was battling his own demons and we sat down and talked at the Four-Plex in Santa Maria, I told him about the man who had given a talk on the stage was a Pedophile and the next man who was up on "Secret Sins" was a compulsive gambler and thief, each remained elders until I got the strenght to come forward and report the abuse I suffered! I can't thank the brother enough, it's not enough for him to know he has impacted many in a good way, I get afraid he might go over the edge because of all the shit we learned at Circuit Assemblies and how the Congregation and Family turned against this good brother.
Maybe you might be able to give me good ideas how to encourage a man who put his life on display for everyone, he is self-sacrificing but the Cult and it's hatred is under his skin deeply.
